Try installing it with Applocale set to Japanese.

Thanks for the help. BTW is there any risk in using this?

EDIT well this is nothing but a total waste of my money. this applocale wont even install says it cant find a program it needs? and wasted my money on the full ver, of windom so it seems for now. you got any more ideas? i am running Vista.

There is no risk. Are you saying you were unable to install Applocale? If so, just download it again and try again. In fact, do the same thing with the game. Redownload it and try again.

If you can use Applocale, choose the installer as the executable to run in Japanese. Remember, the language you want is the LAST ONE on the list.

It could also be a problem with the folder names. Rename BOTH of the folders that the installer is placed in to something in English.

With Vista, you may have to install AppLocale in a bit of roundabout way. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right Click Command Prompt -> Run as administrator. Then go to the directory where the AppLocale installer is, and then type the file name (apploc.msi unless you renamed it) and press Enter. The installation should be able to complete properly then.

I'm fairly certain I didn't even need to use Applocale, though.
