Brunestud and Altrouge Brunestud...

Unread postby shadow_Hiei » July 17th, 2007, 9:28 am

I'm curious about those two... were they turned into vampires by the Brunestud family or something?

This may be wrong but...

The name Brunestud, IIRC, is given to those who can summon the Millennium Castle. Those with that power are also referred to as the royalty of the Shinso, the True Ancestors. Arcuied, the Princess of the Shinso, can summon the Millennium Castle with her Marble Phantasm, and as such is given the name of Brunestud. The other owner of the name is Altrouge, the Princess of the Dead Apostles. Not much is known about her, and it was never said explicitly that she summoned the Castle. However, I think the name was given to those worthy of being the successors of the Crimson Moon, and summoning the Castle was how one proves ones worthiness.

Hope that helps.

WHERE DO PEOPLE GET ALL THIS INFORMATION! (And why did Shiki know Altrouge in a Doujinshi?)

It might be this epilogue to Arc's true end:

Altrouge is mentioned a couple of times.

Seconded. much awesomeness, actually makes arcs endings feel comparable to the others.
The one who desires only perfection. Repeat.
The one who sees only flaws. Repeat.
The one who is unable to see alternative. Repeat.
The one who sees the unattainable perfection. Repeat.
The one who is blind. Relinquish.

That end...
I am crying man
It is so amazing.
I can die happily.
Nesu should make Tsukihime 2 like that.

how much of that information is confirmed by Nasu exactly? the only references mentioned are Tsukihime 2 prologue and the melty blood bible.

Is all that information really in there? I kind of doubt it.
