I hope i wouldn't be hurt for that :? .
I'm a noob, i have just finished Tsukihime and i have always hear about MB.
So i managed to get it in order to experience it.
But i'm totally lost between the different version. Melty blood, Melty Blood React, and final Tuned...

Can anyone explain theses? Are they Updates?Sequels? Are all of them being translated?

Thanks in advance.

ps:Excuse the poor english of a french speaking guy :oops:

Melty Blood, first game release
Melty Blood: ReAct, expansion
Melty Blood: ReAct Final Tuned, update, first version on arcade?
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza, PS2 version
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza ver.B, arcade version

That's how I remember it. But you should be able to confirm if I got it right on wikipedia.

Not really - ReAct is an expansion for Melty Blood, and Final Tuned is an update patch for ReAct. Thus Final Tuned cannot be used on Melty Blood, only on Melty Blood ReAct.

Think for example of the Age of Empires expansion - The Rise of Rome. Update patches for RoR will only work on RoR, not on the original AoE.

Yes i understand but...
If i have Final Tuned , then i must have React...
If I have React, then i must have Melty Blood no?

but anyway i think it doesn't matter :)

Lol i'm sometime a little bit obstinate :twisted:.
But i understand :)
Thanks for explanations 8)

just buy all the games, install MB, install react, and update using the latest final tuned patch ^^

or just buy act cadenza for ps2, it is even more recent than final tuned :]

Not to mention that it supports handicaps, so even inexperienced players can get a decent game out of it. ^__^;;;

some people just have too much skill, then handicap won't do anything at all :]

I mean if you can have a perfect round without handicap, it's not like handicap can make the tables turn around that much :P

I wish handicap was on the AC version here, Yesterday I got the crap beaten out of me really badly, this guy had no mercy and just slaughter me with unreal combo's ;___;

handicaps sucks imo, even if it balances the gameplay it dosnt really make it more fun when a noob is playing an experienced player since he will still just be juggeled and more frustrated throughout the match ^^
