So I got the steam version and it looks very nice.
Does it miss anything? There are so many variations to this game I wanna make sure I get the full package.
Also, does the demo contain things not present in the full game?

The steam version's the most up-to-date PC version of MBAACC, yes.

The PS2 version of MBAA had a Ryougi stage and a boss rush, but those were removed from the PC versions. But the PC version has a bunch of updates that the PS2 version doesn't (hence: Current Code), so there's no perfect solution.

Hi, Cappost! I'm glad to see that people still look at these forums from time to time.
That being said, these forums have seen better days and not many people come to visit anymore.

If you want to learn more info about TYPE-MOON stuff and talk to people who are interested in it,
then I highly suggest checking out the Beast's Lair forums at http://forums.nrvnqsr.com
It's a very active forum with lots of sub-forums on various stuff.

The TYPE-MOON Wiki is another good place for info at http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/TYPE-MOON_Wiki

Hi there :P
Just wanted to ask about "Dust of Osiris". Is this an MM translation of her name? Not some TM Engrish one?
I'm trying to understand why it's "dust" instead of "sand(s)". Her name in Japanese is Oshirisu no Suna (オシリスの砂), where suna is a sand. Is it an adaptation? I heard some fairy tails about real Osiris' dust, but hey... Melty Blood is an urban fantasy, so why not "sand"?

"Dust" comes from Type-Moon themselves. Just look at some videos of an unpatched version of the game and you'll see.

As for why they used that word, I don't know. TM is really, really bad about Engrish, so maybe they just thought it sounded cooler.

I see. Thanks.

Now is my second question. Is Riesbyfe Stridberg an Engrish monster too? Her romanized name Riizubaife Strindovari (リーズバイフェ・ストリンドヴァリ) sounds like Swedish August Strindberg's one, as someone mentioned it. But there is no match at the last part ストリンドベリ, so instead of Strindberg it should be Strindvarg. At least it seems so according to katakana. And it doesn't match with Stri[]dberg, because there is no "N" for some reason.
This is not the first time when I'm bumping on Type Moon misspellings. I used German-to-English transcription to understand how to pronounse Irisviel von Einzbern, but I was shoked to know that they're reading Iri as Airi (like in English), while reading von as fon (like in German). Same shit with Kishur/Kishua and Zelretch/Tselretkh. It's a real pain for translators. Especially for non-English ones

Probably, since I can't imagine why else they'd drop the 'N' from the romanization. They had no problems with "POWERD CIEL" or "NECO", so it'd certainly fit.

Her name is also probably a nod towards Antonio Stradivari (ストラディバリ), as her pile bunker resembles a violin. I could see them starting there and then tweaking it a bit to make a new name.
