Special? What do you mean?
If you're talking about programs like AppLocale *or whatever, I don't use it*, I don't think so. I can't quite remember if I needed to mess with the non-unicode settings when I installed it, but so long as you have the game and the requirements to run it, I don't think so.
Oh, if you don't have a joypad, a keyboard would help
*Is immediately banned for horrible, horrible joke*
Very simple explanation of the buttons. For the advanced options I just set them all to 32bit, but I don't really see much of a difference.
Using a keyboard, you can't change the controls, so...
Arrow keys to move, N M , . - weak, medium, strong and parry. There are more but they're not really nessesary.
Hope that helps.
They probably use the numpad though. Mine is a laptop so no numpad. Having to press 2 arrow keys at once to achieve the same effect as pressing, say, numpad 1 is, and doing multiple of those in a combo.....your fingers get all tangled up.
I might buy a gamepad though. Any ideas on a good cheap one that will let me combo, etc with ease?
Either a Logitech Rumblepad 2 or a Dual Action. I recommend the rumblepad though, as the joystick thingies in the Dual Action tend to break rather quickly. Mine lasted well over a year, but I've read a lot of comments on how for most people they broke within a week or 2.
