Depletion Garden?

Unread postby gexer64 » December 3rd, 2008, 3:59 am

I have heard that Sacchin's reality marble depletion garden appears in game. If it does, could I get a screen shot or video of it?

It starts out as a beautiful garden at first, then it'll turn into a barren wasteland.

*thinks about Sacchin's Reality Marble*

....

*blushes*

I don't really understand Satsuki's reality marble, Depletion Garden. Where is the information behind it?

Reality Marble = representation of a magus' heart

Satsuki's a tragic character, living with a huge crush on Skiki for a few years and having a slight bit of hope that he might also be interested in her after walking home wih him on that fatefull day. Then she gets turned into a vampire and everything around her starts to fall in ruin, her hopes and dreams, her humanity, everything in her life that looked like a lush green garden starts to become a barren wasteland.

At least that's how I see the logic behind her reality marble, feel free to discuss if you see it differently.

There are no sources, so take, grain, salt, etc. I don't remember seeing that information in Tsukihime at all, for the record. Or Melty Blood. Or KT...
not that it matters in KT

from fuyuki wiki:

Yumizuka Satsuki's Reality Marble. As the name says, rapidly drains the Prana of the space it's expanded in. Similar to Akiha's Ryakudatsu, but Depletion Garden is affecting the world itself (as opposed to the target). Further, the withered Prana doesn't return to the user, Satsuki, but just dissipitates. A terrain type effect that could be said to be the natural enemy of beings such as those magi needing Prana for attacks or elementals needing Prana to live. On the other hand, against those organisms that are becoming removed from the world (those humans who don't really use the Prana in the atmosphere) has dramatically no effect.

It's the ultimate magus counter.

Now is there a video with Depletion garden? The screenshot wet my appetite.

Just the concept is very fitting for sacchin. Plus, the name is awesome :p

MBAC Sacchin LastArc.avi

(I need to plug my arcade stick in, keyboard sucks. I moved my stick back to the 360 for SF2)

Anyway, I never found crouching last arcs all too useful. So I don't think I've ever pulled this move off in a real battle. So, any other movies you wanna see?

What do you mean with 'crouching last arc'? I can pull this off while standing.
I thought there were only aerial and grounded last arcs.

Lol, call me delusional then. Still, Air Last arcs are much easier. I can jump into a projectile and shield with no problems.

yeah last arcs are either aerial or grounded, with grounded being with standing or crouching. however, if you ex shield a crouching attack while standing the damage is scaled down HARD. And both last arcs are fairly easy to pull off against the CPU xD anything with projectiles, and jump in attacks are easily timed too

Might just like this board
