well im somewhat new to this game but i've already finished the show im pretty familiar with everything now, but i have a tech problem. Is it possible to convert the replay files to something veiwable outside the game or am i doomed to using hypercam?

I'd like to know this as well, as I have a few badass replays that would be great for converting a few people to start playing the game when they see a fighting game n00b like myself having fights this good.

Screen capturing software is probably your only way. Try Fraps.

With Fraps, it seems you have to set it to capture at 60fps, otherwise the game lags.

For me, full resolution and 60 fps means around 4GBs for 2minutes 22.

Be sure you have a fast defragged hard drive. Having a Raid 0 to capture to does help me a bunch.

Of course after you capture, you encode to something else. A little AviSynth knowledge can help for combining video segments.

What I do:
Do the battle, save replay.
Run the replay while frapping (60 FPS)
After video recording is finished, import into Windows Movie Maker.
Edit accordingly (none so much for me).
Save as WMV, upload to youtube!
