With the newest Xfire update, Melty Blood Act Cadenza is now supported. For those that don't know, Xfire is a gaming IM program that can track the time you play supported games and allows in game chat. However it's very specific in how it detects games, and I was wondering if there was a chance the MB team would be able to get the English MBAC patch to be detected in Xfire?

I'd post a link but the forum restrictions won't let me.

You've posted once, you can now post links. It is only restricted to first post users.

This is an anti-spam measure.

Xfire Page

It said 2 posts for me.

If I remember correctly, Xfire detects games via the exe name, if that helps

I haven't found this to be case, it'll detect pretty much any version of Mame if you rename the .exe of what ever version of Mame you want it to detect to Mame32.exe even if the version of Mame you want it to detect has been hacked.
I doubt xfire will have any trouble detecting the translated version of Melty Blood Act Candenza when it comes out unless installing the patch renames the exe or unless the translated version has it's own install folder like Tsukihime does.

It's done this for a couple months now. Nice to have I suppose, but doesn't really affect much.
