Unread post by mthegreatone » May 18th, 2005, 2:38 pm

hey guys. i'm thinking about buying a cheap PS2 arcade stick from fry's as well as those converters so i can hook up the arcade stick to my comp. i was wondering if anybody else is doing this and if it works or not.

I have two DDR dancepads hooked up to the May Flash super dual box, a twin ps2/pc converter. It's supposed to have full vibration feedback support etc etc and its performance leaves little to be desired, but the drivers don't seem to be very compatible with slightly older games: I once tried using the dancepads as controllers for Interplay's Atomic Bomberman and it crashed utterly and thoroughly.

So it could be a gamble - either it'll work or it won't. But I would think there are communities of people doing stuff like this, I'd suggest you'd try google.
