Ciel's Maximum Air combo

Unread postby DragonNeoReborn » February 23rd, 2004, 7:51 pm

Has anyone been able to complete Ciel's air combo. I can only get about half-way through. I think it's impossible without a joystick. How far have you guys have gotten with her maximum air combo?

My knowledge of the terminology of fighting games is pretty piss poor. >_< and the funny thing is Ciel is my best character. I can perform her 12 HIT aerial (the same one the AI performs) rather well, although I often mess up because my timing is slow. The new aerial in that Ciel?s AI likes to do is rather easy to perform (the 15 HIT one). Perhaps I?ll record some of my replays, those would be entertaining to see I suppose

Well I can do something like six or seven aerial hits, then do the down-rear-strong EX move in mid air, making it some 10 or 12 extra hits.

I have managed to do 16 Arial hits in regular Melty Blood before via Ciel (she is my preferred character for a number of reasons). We should find out how many hits Ciel?s maximum aerial combo is and how it is performed (I?ll check to see what GameFAQ?s has later).

Is it just me or does anyone else have the constant issue of Ciel?s replays never saving correctly? I think it has something to do with the way I play (most of the issue seems corrected in ReACT, although sometimes it still won?t save).

Damn, that is the first I have seen replays like these. I have heard of them being done before, but have never found replays on them. I am good with Ciel, but my controller is hardly good enough for anything that accurate. I want to purchase a USB/PS2 converter and use my Duel Shock 2 for Melty Blood.

Yah, I'd love to be able to too. I've seen converters for like 7 bucks on ebay and am seriously considering getting one. Li-Kun what did you use to get those combo's???

Everybody uses the keyboard to combo, it's easier then a gamepad.

Btw. I have many replays.

After you download it, remove the .txt extension

How do you play the replays? Do you just stick them in the main directory?

In the Melty Blood folder make a folder called Replay and put all of the replays in there. Then just go to practice mode and view the replays there.

Ok, the trainer only works on 1.03 and below.
To use it, you'll need the older mb.exe files.
After you run the trainer you must click on the right version number.
Then you'll get in a menu with some buttons.
Go to the most bottom three above the close button.
Run meltyblood, and in the character select highlight Shiki,
then alt-tab or select the trainer and click on one of the tree buttons.
+----+ +--------+
|Nero| |G. Akiha|
+----+ +--------+
+----+
|Hisui|
+----+
After that you'll select "Shiki" and enter a battle, voila.
Btw. Nero and G.Akiha aren't quite complete.
Nero's controls aren't quite the same as in the 1.10 version because he isn't actually a playable character.
G.Akiha has 4 "special moves"
Button 1: Shockwave
Button 2: Punch
Button 3: Drill
Button 4: Eye beam

Note. If G. Akiha will be launched in the air your game will crash, so be cautious.

Have fun

All depends on the replay, but all of those replays appear to be practice mode replays.
