So... How to install?

Unread post by Irbis » December 5th, 2008, 12:27 am

Um... Maybe it is only my problem, as I haven't seen other threads like this...

But what all these options in the installer mean? Can anyone post a pic with all these checkboxes and buttons explained? I don't mean the patch of course - I mean the game before if is installed and/or translated.

Why not use the English installer?

Maybe I'm dumb... but I couldn't find anything resembling english installer on the disc.

Oh, well, I guess nobody will/can help me. :(

.........
Seriously man....
1.- Download the english patch from the project's site
2.- Put the Wanko to Kurasou disc in your drive
3.- Run the ensligh patch installer you downloaded
4.- Follow instructions
5.- ????
6.- PROFIT

Have you heard about the saying that goes something like "drunk people and kids tell no lies"? Well, that's just a fallacy.

...

You know, what I asked in the beginning was what all these little checkboxes and other options were about. I was curious if, for example, checking some will mean that, for example, the game will be fully voiced. Things like that. You know, the second point from your list, which didn't helped matters any, btw.

I'm perfectly capable of installing English patch AFTER the game was installed but that was not what was bugging me.

Meh, I guess I'll have to try and install WtK blindly, at least I'll have someone to blame it this somehow backfires :P

Unless you're telling me that the English patch has detailed installing instructions or somehow installs the game instead as well, but I doubt that was what you mean.

That's exactly what the English patch does.
