Yeah, group name was chosen rather randomly because we couldn't choose on a name.
The name doesn't reflect what game we will translate next, as we havent even decided what to work on next.
Heck, the group name may change if we end up not liking it.


And yeah, there's not much games that's as moe as wanko...
One thing I am sure of is that I won't be translating Shuffle!... That game, putting it nicely, is a piece of sh*t.

Yeah seeing you translating that game would really make me do a double take, or even a tripple take for that matter. Since I kind of knew how much you lothed that game from the blong on this site quite some time ago. In any case it is a nice name for hte gourp if you ask me TakaJun, but does this mean you're thinking of doing any of the other games that were on that pic that made you come up with the name now? I just thought I'd ask.

The name was selected before the picture. It was like:

"Oh &#$^ it! Let's just use Yandere for now, even though people will ask for yandere games."
"Anyone has a pic of a bloody chainsaw or something for the logo?"
"I googled 'yandere', and found this pic. It's not a bloody chainsaw but whatever."

Also btw, the only character in that pic whose game doesn't already have a translation group working/procrastinating on it is Nanoha (Triangle Heart series). School days, Shuffle and Higurashi are already being translated.

As to what games to translate next, Never7/Remember11? Although it'd be hard as hell to get originals and the fanbase, frankly, sucks.

Sometimes I think Shuffle! is kind of a lost cause to translae since ht egourp has had a run-in with bad luck, and still does it seems. School Days I'd figgured as much and somewhat with Higurashi. As for Triangle Heart I'm supprised about hearing that though. Although it's really more on her older brother. Also, to think she was the only one to get a non-H spin-off series. Although the massive yuriness is implied all the way up to the third season fo that series though.

In any case it kind of makes you wonder how some groups come up with thier names at times though.

lol, at Taka's remark on Shuffle! I also wonder sometimes, how does Shuffle! garner such fanbase... it looks pretty generic, although of course i never been able to play it thoroughly do to obvious language barrier. Even when I re-watched anime, the story felt kinda too good to be true, the girls are too stupid to exist, and above all... cheezy!

Gotta give a prop to this franchise though, this is the title that open my eyes to what VN/eroge is... i even come to know gamepatch first before mirror moon. I actually searched, looked, and prayed for existence of Shuffle! translation, while F/SN translation, or mirror moon to be exact, I accidentally found it when browsing something completely unrelated to F/SN or TYPE-MOON.

lol.. sometimes i wonder how could I fell in love to Shuffle! in the first place back then? But nevertheless, will still be hoping gamepatch to actually complete the patch... I already got the game after all.
