Damn Taka, you put my records to shame =x.

My highest is 26. Getting better though.

Also, I find it strange that the 26 destroyed on the SS has a higher rank than the 28 destroyed (due to higher points).

Is there a way to get extra points or something?

Yeah.. I'll be sure to avoid playing against Taka for awhile. XD

Im getting there myself.

Currently an average of 23 kills per game. While i got an average of 18 kills per game last night...
Still nowhere near you score tho Taka..

Speaking of which.. How's the other staffers fare at this game? Im sure you guys have played amongst yourselves right? So who's the top ACE? XDD

@Wing Zero.. I believe it would be the computer level. I kinda notice there would be a 'level' besides the computer's name. And technically, wouldnt a higher level character = more points?

argh. for some reason, I'm stuck at 29...
and even though i can predict an enemy's attacks, I cannot block them for some reason (I know how to do it; it's just my bad timing)

Well, logically, the lower level computers should give less points.

But that should mean more kills = more points, since after a while the computers are all high leveled.

I myself have several instances where less kills -> more points -> higher rank. I'm not quite sure what causes it, really. I think different weapons score different points, but that's just a hypothesis.

I think that it's because you get more points from powerful mechs like BlackSelena and Anthurium while you get close to nothing from weaker ones like MS-98 or Millennium

ooo. That makes sense.

Since Anthurium has like, twice the hp of Asteroid, etc.

I see. (Score is damage x 2, apparently)

Melee attacks score higher points. And killing a mecha with higher life will obviously result in more points, because it will take more hits to kill him (mentioned above)

All i know is that while pressing the melee n directional buttons, i can get to choose where the point of attack is coming from. And then executing a combo with either a quick guard or a double tap plus no direction melee.

I hate it when the enemy has an auto attack blocking ability tho.. I have no idea how to break through that.

I use these pointers myself

1. Play it ranged.

2. Keep both of enemies in your view, don't let them pincer nor corner you.

3. Use safe attacks. Beam rifle is considered safe as it generally don't flinch yourself while shooting, as opposed to High Intensity Laser for example.

4. Aim the more dangerous target first. For example, XP and XP Type-B are considered first priority threat while MS-98 is considered a free frag.

5. Patience, persistence, all those kinds of stuff.
