The Garden of Sinners?

Unread postby Alyeris » January 3rd, 2007, 2:35 pm

Anyone here want me to start translating the books? I have the korean version (which has been edited by the publishers slightly in order to adapt the language for Koreans) and plenty of spare time on my hands so *shrugs*...

You can translate your heart out, but keep in mind not to distribute the novel through our forums. We didn't keep our translations to the freely released chapters for nothing. ^_^

The Garden of Sinners is a story set in the same world as Tsukihime. It follows another holder of the mystic eyes of death perception called Ryogi Shiki who wakes up after having been in a coma for 2 years.

Oh and there is a rumor (its been a while since I checked though) that an anime is going to be made of this (Kara no Kyoukai if you want the phonetic japanese name).

I would post more info but i have school right now lolz.

*edit* oh its a movie? might get it lolz... and I'm gonna have to put off the translaing for a few days due to sickness so it will probably be about two to three weeks before i even have a draft copy up of the first chapter.

The animation of KnK has already been announced officially, but as far as I know it's not yet clear whether it will be a TV series or OVA (or movie).

Hmm, you're right, that would appear to be the case. Well, I'm going to consider that good news. ^^

i agree that is good news . but on the other hand a series i think would have been much better. how much stuff can they fit into a movie. people(myself also) complain how short Shingetsutan tsukihime was. so how much of a story can they fit into this movie. dont get me wrong am not saying its gonna be a bad movie.

It turns out I dont have to do all the hard work after all. Baka Tsuki already has a lot of it up :) Bad thing is that it hasnt been organised properly and a lot of editing still needs to be done. Looks like that will keep me occupied...

What is baka tsuki?

Also hmm......a movie SERIES would own. Theres no shortage of material for one thing. And the storyline is definately good enough to pull it off, as well as Type-Moon/Nasu's reputation to get the money. The only thing is whether the animation company will do it good enough or not.
