What the hell is this from!? I have to know! I know the band, but is this actually from a game, or is it just a homemade thing? Also, a translation would be bitchin' if anyone has one handy. I COULD do it, but I'm lazy. :P

Ahh I remember this song, it's one of the drummania songs where u need to move so fast @_@. About your question, I highly doubt that it's from a game. I saw a similar clip from another song, Onihime, and there have been no such info on what it's from. It's probably fanmade, and in case you were wondering, that isn't the official clip for the song either (i think).

Saya no Uta from Nitro+, the creators of Phantom of Inferno and Demonbane. It is currently being worked on by sebasdoes (translation), Teus (project lead), Misu (your guess is as good as mine) and myself (my guess is nowhere near as good as yours). Don't watch these clips, they spoil to the point of extremity.

Hmm, then that means the weird clip I got for Onihime might be from a game as well... Too bad I lost the clip though.

This is a VERY VERY VERY VERY (Did I repeat this enough?) good game.
If you can handle guro (sick things), this is a must-play game.
It's short, but the story is beautiful.

Best of luck to the translators!

Guro as in vaginal/ other impalations? Like, the kind of really sick shit you get from 7chan's guro boards, or do you simply mean horrible violence?

It's "simply" horrible--- well, I wouldn't call it violence. Things like entrails, lumps of flesh, stuff like that. Not a pretty sight. Basically, what you saw in that spoilerish vid. orz

Here is the Trailer:

very short, the story revolves around a guy who gets into an accident and starts seeing everything as something "unnatural".
Except one girl.

when i first read about the story, it gave me nightmares
but now i check the translation status everyday^^

Oooh, that one.... someone from Baka-Tsuki "recommended" it to me, saying it was a really good game. Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese so...

...I settled for reading the Wiki page (don't remember the name anymore D: ). Definitely not my sort of thing.

Sweet! Is the game itself going to have a translation of it released, like Tsukihime from Mirror Moon, or is just the story going to be translated? Like, will there be a game or a book released?

there will be a patch. theres already someone working on cracking it :)
Orochi (former translator) just posted his progress online so that people could see how he progressed, he worked at an amazing speed and it was almost finished, but suddenly he disappeared and the project stood still for several months. now a new translator should be working on it, but there have been no sound from him yet.

i really hope the project isn't dying.

The name is mirror moon.

Yes, there will eventually be a patch released for Saya no Uta. Work is going very slowly at the moment, the translator will probably have more time once he finishes UBW proofing.
