Right, no caps, got it. >.<

That's a shame... I can't wait to play! And if it really is way darker than how Tsukihime got, then dammit I REALLY can't wait...

If you want a translated horror game, you could try Divi-Dead. It's way overboard during the eroscenes, but they're easily skipped. The story is pure wtf mindrape, and there's some decent horror in it here and there. Costs 10 bucks over at himeya. For free you can get The Noose and other titles by dejavu, but since VN is down you'll have to wait a bit to get them. orz

I'm goin' to Japan for the first time over Springbreak, so that'll be cool. Where's Himeya?

Himeya is an online shop, and I'm not even sure if they ship local (in Japan). Anyways, if you're gonna be in Japan there's plenty of great stores to find games in most of the shopping districts, particularly Akihabara.

Oh, well don't I feel dumb. XD I can't wait for Akiba... Any games in English there? I know they have a fascination with it, so just wondering.

I don't remember seeing a lot while I was there. I recall one store on the top story of some complex that had a bunch of retro game equipment like the Sega Phaser and whatnot, and also had a small selection of English games from the 16-bit era, but if you asked me now I wouldn't have a clue as to its location, or if its even still in business. Also some of the larger games stores have a small selection of U.S. PC games (mostly FPS), though I don't remember whether they were translated into Japanese or not - I just kinda glaced at the boxes then laughed at the prices.

So, how's progress on Saya goin'? Is it just a translation or a patch? I took a look at some of the CG's and the soundtrack. Extraordinary, I tell you! Is there some thread I should be lookin' at for progress reports or somethin'?

Is the project being worked on by mirror moon members, or is mirror moon just renting out the webspace?

I've thought about that, but would it be worth the effort?

Actually, no. At the moment it's an indie/freelance project. The site is just hosted on the mm.org subdomain for convenience. Of course the option to release it as a mirror moon project is still open, but from what I recall we (the SnU crew) decided against that idea.

I see, so it's an independent project, but there's a few members who also happen to be members of mirror moon (I assume 'we' includes 'you'). Makes sense.

The Saya no Uta page hasn't been updated in a while. Does anyone know if it's still alive?
