Would Kinoko's character (the mushroom-thingy with a hammer(?)) count as a Type-Moon character?
I think it might act as a sort of TYPE-MOON mascot or something...I dunno.
No, it's just a mascot for all we know.

BUT the mushroom created it. Now you know Nasuverse rules, "the offspring cannot beat the original".

General TYPE-MOON

the most powerful Type-moon character (at least of the ones I know about) I'd say probably one of the Aristoteles, maybe Type-Saturn.
A giant fortress that rains exploding crosses just seems cool. Though then again, Slash Emperor was able to kill Type-Jupiter, so maybe he could beat the others as well.

Yup, a weapon born from a Liner (Knight). It eats ether, which is siphoned from the planet. Apparently can rip through time-space like Ea? If Ea is anti-world, what is this thing? It seems a lot more intimidating than Ea... just dig up the picture, you will see what I mean.

I read somewhere (Fuyuki wiki ?,Type moon wiki? ) that Slash Emperor grows to the size required to beat its opponent.Though it consumes Earth in the process though.

Na, Mystic Eye of Death Perception is powerful, but it is blown beyond proportions. As long as something is not bound by the system of the World, the Eye cannot comprehend its death. ORT laughs at the Eye of Death Perception, but does that mean he is the most powerful? No, you can still kill it by physical means. All Types are essentially the same, you can kill them with aether powered/derived weapons. O, and I think the Knight Arm-wielding people (although they are not completely human) are called Ether Liners.

Wouldn't type-akasha be essentially the strongest being (assuming there is such a thing)?

I think it's a character in Nasu's angel pages or papers or something like that. :\

Slash Emperor is the name of the weapon some guy(Ado Edem?) uses in Angel Notes, a story by Nasu that takes place after the earth 'dies'.

He uses it to kill Type-Jupiter and something else, and these are ridiculously powerful beings(comparable to or higher than ORT and Crimson Moon, aka Type-Moon).

I don't think Akasha is a tangible entity like the World or Alaya. Akasha contains the fate of everything, if it is sentient, then it will be a boring existence. To Akasha, everything is already fixed. Let's say Shiki dot stabs someone, it seems to the observer that the person's life is ended prematurely, but this fate was in Akasha since the beginning of time.
