Well, not too sure if it's new as I recall reading something mentioning this dated mid last year somewhere off the net.
It seems to be based off an ongoing Type Moon manga called 'Take Moon', by Takenashi Eri. Anyways. Some research into this suggests it is an OVA. Not too sure if it's a series, but here's me hoping it's longer than 109 minutes if it turns into a one-off (*cough UBW cough*). I'm hoping it's a one off actually. Not too keen on series based off unfinished manga storylines.
Basically, it's an anime bringing together most / all Type Moon characters. Even more epic is that there is no really serious theme. Light-hearted like Fate/hollow ataraxia is in regards to storyline.
For Akiha and Rin lovers (saw that poll somewhere...), I guess it's something to look forward to this year. Even more so considering the release is tipped for summer.... in the Northern Hemisphere...

There is a bit more info here:

though the latest news is from last December.
Kind of interested, but I'd rather have MahoYo. Which should be out before then, though at this rate, who knows?

Oh I've heard of that manga series. It pretty much was at one part they made Phantasmoon (A.k.A Arc) as a somewhat legitamate character. In any case it's more or less when all of the Nasuverse series tend to converge at one point or another. In any case it's promsing to see this getting anything more than just the manga set of course.
