I was reminded a bit of GATE (not tower) of Babylon, but I also was reminded of FFVII: Advent Children. I think, for the acrobatics at least, it's related to the whole idea of wuxia films (like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero [I think], FFVII:AC, etc.).

"Hey! I submitted an essay into this particular contest, and HE submitted an essay into this same contest. He's copying me!"

Just saying, is all.

This is like saying one story is copying another because they both have swords...

Admittedly, both have multiple swords that both appear and fly around in the air at the will of the user. (Though
Archer's and Gilgamesh's swords aren't that maneuverable.)

However, I don't remember Fate/stay night having a character who could perform shundo, either (unless you're playing Fatal/Fake, but that's not canon, as far as I know).

Slightly off-topic:

Since when did saying what a story, or any part thereof, is NOT become categorized as spoiler?

Well in 仙剑奇侠传 (a very famous RPG series in China started in 1995 for DOS), it was highly focused on sword appearing around ain the air at the will of the user, and that's definitely way before F/SN. If fact, they even have Rain of Swords. They're also able to ride on swords. But we all know Nasu didn't copy it (he probably didn't even know it anyways).

There are only so many ideas in the world. I mean, would people say SRW copied Fire emblem since they both used grids (although everything else is completely different), or chess, for that matter?

Saying these kind of thing are just too narrow minded.

I never explicitly stated that I was agreeing with the starter of this thread. (Which I don't, by the way.)

Bartz is the main character from Final Fantasy V. In a recent trailer for Final Fantasy Dissidia it shows him using the gunblade and the buster sword at the same time.
Then you realize... That there is no loli. And it's not the loli you're molesting, it's yourself.

Jack Rakan from Mahou Sensei Negima has this "artifact" that lets him summon thousands of swords... really big ones too (like a mega sized UBW). Imagine Archer/Shirou tracing them all.
