Just a small note to say that the Farland Symphony project is not dead. I've taken over as the new project leader, with md as proofer and Daichi as graphics editor. The game has already been translated by TakaJun and is currently undergoing the proofing process by md. Once that's done, Daichi will take care of any remaining graphics that need to be edited. With some luck, we might even have it ready in a few months. :D

wow it's been like what? 2~3 years and i've managed to misplace my farland symphony game rofl... i honestly thought the project is over, i couldn't even find farland symphony in the projects section of revolve anymore... it's been a long and terrible wait T.T...

now even if the translation is out, i can't play it rofl...

anyone know any recent english srpgs but for pc?

so 2 questions:

1) is the name farland saga or farland symphony?

2) where's the download page for the trans?

1) The name is Farland Symphony, it is part of the Farland saga.

2) On our 2011 website.

2011 site?

by then, we can't play farland saga anymore, by that time there would be no xp compatibility T.T

As a guy that's read the script almost twice: Jeeeze, this reminds me of Breath of Flams a LOT

AlinSabel casts Thread Necromancy (minor).
Thread is revived with 20/100 HP.

So... how's this project chugging along? :D

http://mirrormoon.org/projects/farland_symphony

Image editing and insertion are the main bits left. I have a couple kb of menus to proof.

I know this kind of question is unwelcome, but though I checked the project page a few times, it didn't really changed in the past few months. Now I won't complain about this, since you guys are doing this for free and in your free time, so I wouldn't have any right to complain, even if I wanted to. What I want to ask is wether you are not updating the info sheet because there is nothing to update or you simply forgot/didn't have time/wasn't in the mood/etc. to do it?
It's fine with me either way, just asking...

Since Farland Saga isn't the main focus in mm (yet), it's safe to assume they're working on something else, most likely hf scenario in F/SN. There might be some work done, since other projects don't update as often as Fate.

(-.-';) i compleatly forgot about farland..

You do realize that by bringing this back up, you've forced us to delay the release for one whole year?

Nope, I don't. Have never complained about early delivery once in my life.

Actually, I can offer a solution to keep Message's former promise AND release the translation before 2011, if it's ready before then, of course (which is very likely, thanks to ArchDemon switching to super-speed mode, posting daily updates and all...I for one really appreciate it). :D
Message-san actually never mentioned, that the download link will BECOME available only in 2011, but that it will be there by then. So it can appear before. Screwing with words is wonderful, isn't it? :D
(Also, the term "download page" can be interpreted in many ways...)
So, plenty of oppotunities not to be cought up in the (single-thread) web of former promises and release the game freely, when it's done, whenever that is...(if it's before 2012, since you did not specify the month and day (and hour and minute and second)) . Yatta! :P
