Farland Symphony: Status - Updated Thursday, Thursday April 1st, 2010

Update: Taka facepalmed at the script, so he's checking the translation again. Everything's back on track.

Patch Released!!!

Executable text: All done.
OP Subtitles: All done.
Graphics re-editing: All done.
Item descriptions: All done.
Magic descriptions: All done.
Object descriptions: All done.
Tech descriptions: All done.
Script insertion: All done.
Installer: All done.

Current list of things to do:

1. Reword weapon descriptions. (102/102 done)
2. Reword armor (41/41 done) and accessory (56/56 done) descriptions.
3. Insert, format and test. (Tested script 19 of 19.)
4. Whip Daichi to work on the images.
5. Beta testing. (In-progress)
6. Release.

It looks like a long road, but once these descriptions are done, the rest should follow quickly.

Okay, I've been a bit slack with the project since I've been working with uni and with other groups and their projects, but I'm back at it again. I'm currently re-inserting all the script due to screwed up formatting and some other issues. All the item descriptions are translated, but there are 2 screens which use the same descriptions but have different character limits, and the game doesn't wrap text correctly in one of the screens when using a line return command. So the item descriptions will probably need to be reworded in order to fit both screen limits and wrap correctly. Some of the graphics were done, but the translation has been checked since then and the old translation contained errors, so the graphics need to be re-done. So to summarize, I need to finish re-inserting the script, re-word the item descriptions, and then have Daichi edit the graphics again. I will try to keep updating this post whenever I've done something. Later.

Well good luck with going back onto the project now. In any case this game does look interesting with the screenshots at this time though.
- Finding my way through this garden is rather unbearable, but if it is to keep the one I adore company I will endure it for her sake, and her sake alone.

Well double post, but let me be the first to thank you for your hard work, even if it was mostly lost due to the incident with the Dutch police. I downloaded the files you saved and even though only every second word is transalted (avarage) and no images are edited yet, I am thankful. I hope someone will take up this project in the future. It's sad though, that polices around the world are so..."mean". *winkwink*
