I've been listening to nothing but Versailles (J-Rock band) recently. Both Lyrical Sympathy and Noble are amazing albums and I encourage you to give them a listen.

My Violent Heart - NIN

On hands and knees
We crawl
You cannot stop us all
Our blood will stay
We will not go away

On hands and knees
We crawl
You can not stop us all
Our blood, our grace
Will never leave this place

Hm... wouldn't it be nsync or some shit like that?... or... have the 13 year old girls started hearing some other shit? Jeez! I feel old already!

Have you heard about the saying that goes something like "drunk people and kids tell no lies"? Well, that's just a fallacy.

Well, I think the music the 13 years old girls are hearing is from this group:

Tokio Hotel.

my god...how much I hate those guys...I really, really, really hate them, to the point of forbidding my sister to hear them...

anyway.

Dieser Weg- Xavier Naidoo. (german one)

Hah, glad I'm not the only person who thought that, too. I didn't want to say something because honestly, I didn't want to look more of a dick than I already do.

Well, to be fair, Rammstien refer to themselves as Dance Metal, or something, and I think some other sources do too. So the confusion is understandable.

Glad you guys checked out Galadriel, and seemed to enjoy it. If you have any recommendations of similar artists, I'd love to hear them.

Also, Catastrophe is right, Powerslave is an amazing album. I don't know if I'd say best ever, as I'm also quite fond of Horror Show and Nightfall in Middle-Earth as potential contenders for that, and this is just off the top of my head.

Finally, I'm actually currently listening to Lordi - Last Kiss Goodbye.

Though I think I may just have to go pop on Rime of the Ancient Mariner after this. Maybe the whole album, actually.

Ditto.

Their style in latest albums is kinda unique (Gothic metal with good guitar riffs? WTF?) so i can't think of any bands... i mean, the closest one that came to my mind was Therion and they are not really similar... and chances are you know them anyway. Also Valkyria kinda came to me, and they are also not like them... they are folk goth.

Mister Sandman (Chordettes Cover) - Blind Guardian

Fuckin' awesome xD

That track can be really, really creepy depending on what it is accompanying.

Now listening to: Hirasawa Susumu - Byakkoya no Musume

Hirasawa Susumu has made some really good music.
