ooh...I think you ought to put this in the spoilers tag...
it's quite dissapointing for anyone(such as me)who's dying in anticipation to see it...

Hah, okay.

I've tolerated pretty bad anime in my life, so it's not much of a big deal. Plus, it'll give me a chance to rant and vent out some stress if it's bad.

Curious, anyone watched Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, from what I heard it's one of the top rated series right now. But also from what I gathered, if TYPE-MOON's story flow is a dynamite then Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien can be graded on a nuclear bomb scale. How does the series feel in general to you. I'm still trying to gather enough courage to watch that series. :P

Shuffle!? I just thought that it wasn't so bad, although it is kinda perverted (sigh y did they do that)... The first ep still rocks though.

Re: Kimi ga nozomu eien - Overall it was enjoyable. There were bits I really liked, but then there were also bits where they were oh so overly dramatic/condescending. All in all, I guess it's worth your while if you like that kind of thing, although I assume the VN is (of course) better. Haven't played it though.

As for what I'm watching:
Lucky Star _>)
And I rewatch eps of Haruhi occasionally.

and on the current list:

Higurashi No Naku Koroni Kai: pretty much the best show all summer.

Lucky Star: no explanation needed. Silly Konata =)

Nanatsuiro Drops: aww bubbly. Based on h-game so the art is naturally good. Story isn't terrible either...it's alright.

Moetan: Moe overdose, pedo duck, pedo cat...etc etc.

Zero 2: Gotta love Louise...though the show isn't as good as I hoped

Sky Girls: Pretty good for the mecha base, characters have personality.

---

Oh and yeah, Kimi ga nozomu eien was well worth the time. Story made sense, the character actions are what I would expect real people doing. Definite must-see...

Lucky Star as well, but it's anime references really died down after those first few episodes =(

I've finally managed to try and finish Air (which i left after i was missing an episode o.O), and Shakugan is also on my to-watch list  It's been practically impossible for me to watch anything recently, so I'm really behind.

BTW, I don't watch Bleach and Naruto =O (not anymore at least)

A bit offtopic. Does anybody know if any team is going to work on Bamboo Blade and Sketchbook Full colors, these are 2 shows I'm interested in, but I'm still considering what else to watch.

*sigh* Responses to Higurashi 'the sky is falling!' behind the spoiler-cut:

Higurashi is a great show, regardless of how Geneon USA (well, Dentsu 'suits' more specifically) and 'omg, Think of the Children!' fanatics in Japan may conspire to keep the English release of season 1 and the Japanese broadcast 2nd season from me... Maybe a few strategic pop quizzes on green vegetables are needed.

Here. also, it's "Sola" not Solar. (sola = sora = sky)
it's good although it is a short series, if only it were longer..
(damn, you reminded me of Matsuri)
*goes off to watch*

EDIT: Also watching: Shana II, Myself; Yourself, CLANNAD, Zetsubou-sensei, Hayate no Gotoku

And right now I'm watching;

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan 2
Clannad
Dragonaut - The Resonance
Gintama
Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun
Hayate no Gotoku
Higurashi no Naku Koroni Kai
Kaiji
Kimi-kiss ~ Pure rouge
Mobile Suit Gundam 00
Mokke
Myself; Yourself
Night Wizard

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Shakugan no Shana II
Sky Girls
Tales of Symphonia
Touka Gettan

Dang! Those are loadful of anime you got there....

No anime to watch currently... already graduated from high school so i can't raid their bandwidth to download anime anymore... don't wanna spend money to buy pirated fansubs anime sold by the local here... so basically no anime to watch until my friend lend me his hdd next november.

Unlike US, where the price for internet connection is really cheap (around $30, right?) here in indonesia, we actually have to price a helluva amount of money to get an unlimited bandwidth. The price is about $130 a month, and it's highest speed is around 180kbps when used at midnight, FYI at indonesia with $130 dollar, it's enough to eat 30 Burger King's Double Whopper including fries and coke. For normal, cheaper foods you can have 60-80 meals with that money. Needless to say, it's expensive!!

Therefore, my internet usage is limited to 1 GB a month (download and uploading). With that amount, it's impossible for me to download any anime. Oh one more thing, for 1 GB a month i gotta pay $30.

PS: Sorry that my post became such a nag, i just want people to know how we struggle for internet here in indonesia...

then again yeah, it is true that the series is short but is long enough for the duration of the whole thing. *contradicts self*
although I do wished it was longer anyway.
