Another game: Exodus Guilty 3

The third and final chapter to= Hirameki's outstanding interactive digital novel game that can be played with any standard DVD player, as well as computer with DVD drive or Playstation/Xbox, this is Exodus Guilty 3, with an interactive story that you have complete control over!

Vol.3 -Future-
The year 13,800 A.D. Due to an apocalypse that ravaged the entire earth several centuries earlier, humans have been relegated to the position of an endangered species on blighted land. Only a small sliver of green is left, the acidic oceans are aflame and the blue skies remain no more. The earth cannot even produce sustenance for people to survive. Sui was raised the daughter of a florist in City Gilde, but on her 18th birthday things suddenly shift and her peaceful, if poor, life is thrown into turmoil. A sudden coup d’etat occurs and fatally injured in the fray, her surrogate mother, Nene, relays to her a shocking message with her dying words - Sui is actually the last surviving member of the royal family and a princess heir to the throne. So Sui sets out on a journey with Laliela to take the Key of Will bequeathed to her by Nene to the Sage U.

This game is rated U-15, and is recommend for ages 15 and up.

It seems like the main character is of the female species. =p

Google j list and search it there.

For the version the patch is for, you need to get it buy buying and downloading online. They have instructions on their translation site.

Thank you so much Xavier! I am definitely going to take a look at both of those. Doushin sounds weird with all the 'zapping" or whatever, but that Exodus sounds really cool! I might have to go back and get the other volumes too!

Personally, I wouldn't recommend any of those but, hey, if you're really in need of a visual novel with a female lead, I guess it doesn't hurt to try it out. =p

There are probably a lot of vn game with a main char that is a female. The problem is they aren't translated and, because the majority of people that take interest in vn games are guys that want a male lead, probably will never be translated.

I remember there is a site that sell commercial English translated Japanese novel via disk or download.

Anyone remember the site, (start with G or something if I remember right), I think I got to know that site on this forum, I thought I bookmarked it too but turned out I didn't.

They had a few interesting tittles back then but most of them were on pending release, I like to check if they're available now.

Oh yes, thank you. Look like those tittles is on release now.

If it's not too much trouble can someone take a glance at their product page and see what can be recommended?

I like eroge game but not the hardcore Hentai, something with a (sensible) story, a long the line of Fate/StayNight, Kana-Little Sister, Tsukihime, or Air ...

Right now I'm looking at Crescendo, is it any good?

Crescendo is a good one. What about figures of happiness? I heard good stuff about it.

Majority of the games there are just plain ol' cartoon porn. =p

If you don't like those two, check out Yume miru kusuri from peach princess. Its a good one.

Heh, I'll look at those two tittles, probably can not get all of them due to budget contraint, so any more input will be great.

About Crescendo, can I have more input from people who had played it please. I may order this baby tomorrow, this and Growlanser V next week ... looks like I'm on ramen diet again.

And I have one question:

@Takajun, when browsing Peach Princess I saw Family Project. The thing is one of the character (Kawara Matsuri) looks exactly like the one in your avatar. So given how a hardcore fan you are and you're interest enough to make it your avatar (if that IS your avatar), am I safe to assume that the game is very good. From the description I do think it's one of those with a sensible story. :D

See, what they need to do is make more visual novels where you choose a male/female lead and the story is different depending on the gender. Most people are obsessed with getting everything in a game, so if the male side of the story was good the whole game would probably be translated!

I just noticed it now and, holy shit, you're right! It's the same girl. The game must be popular in Japan.

Speaking of Peach Princess:
Peach Princess wrote:Important note: all characters in this game, as in all games we sell, are aged 18 or older.

I lol'd at that. All those high school girls must have been held back a couple of years. I'm wondering if they fit that into the storyline in every eroge they localize.

It reminds of the character bios in Dead or Alive (English version), with Kasumi's and Ayane's ages noted as "unknown". It's certainly not because they're super secret ninjas, given that Hayabusa's age is right there.

kinda funny though, I don't know much about the law but shouldn't they be able to get away already with a fictional setting or a foreign setting claim (as in this IS Japan people, not the US).

It's like if Holywood make a mediaval movie and they have to classify the princess as over 18. Heh, last time I watched Romeo and Juliet, I don't remember anyone saying they're over 18.

yeah but they don't fuck in romeo and juliet lol

hum no, even if the story goes on in mars, as long as they show kids having sex it would be illegal

As for crescendo, i played it and loved it. You shouldn't hesitate.
Figure of happiness is also very good, a funny unusual story.
Other games from peachprincess that people highly recommend (for their stories) but i haven't played yet are private nurse, kana little sister, chain (not so sure about this one, looks like some kind of detective story) and yume miru kusuri.

Hope i helped a little

Well ... they kinda do, depend on which version you see it, at least it's hinted it (well, I would say more then just hinted). But kiss and get naked as long as there is no sex? Make sense I guess.

still 3 more hours before I can get home, I think I'll go ahead with the order.

I doubt the characters are even human. Maybe sub-human. Huge eyes, non-existent noses and mouths (well almost), big freaking eyes, and unrealistic hair.

Oh nevermind, they're just cartooons. =p
