I just can't wait to be able to be able to read the game, as the words are usually so much more descriptive.
Just wait till you get to the H-scenes! -__-;;
Those scenes are why I'm in this forum. I need to understand them, GAWD! XD

Hey guys, I'm back. Lost my net for a while so obviously I've been playing more games.

So lately I've been playing the hell out of FFX again. Up to about Omega... Though I reset it when I managed to not overkill him by using two of Wakka's attack reels and one hit from Tidus, which is where I screwed up.

Also been playing Melty Blood: Act Cadenza again. Finally unlocked Neco-Arc today. She's awesome.

Also played through Donkey Kong 1 and 3... That's about it. Played a little Tsukihime a while ago, and I went and deleted all my saves and the system save so I could play through completely again. Thank god it's almost the holidays.

I recently played through Parfait again. This time around, I noticed a lot of things and how well the "secret" was hidden. And it's a good story to enjoy by itself too.

I've also been playing beatmania.
I was finally able to beat "The Safari" the other day :D
Don't ask me to do it again as I don't think I can

ahah...i choose to let my computer down for today and busted out my old NES. i've just finished ninja gaiden 1 a few minutes ago, and for most of you who have actually played it, it's no small feat. gonna eat breakfast and then move on to ninja gaiden 2, then 3. i just love this serie, and personally believe the xbox version ruined it. these games had one of the best story of it's time, and if they didn't make the first one so darn infuriating (monsters respawns the second you move 1 pixel of screen...birds...*shudders*) it would have been a huge success.oh well, the sequels are a lot easier. see you later!

playing mostly pop'n music and Dodonpachi in the arcades here, as well as some IIDX and MB ^^ Can't do much else until I get home anyway, but I try to enjoy it while I'm still here :]

Currently I'm playing Battlefield 2142! [curse that game! *gets run over*] But, I'm thinking about starting the last two paths for Ever17...
Then I get to decide... Tsukihime? Shadow Hearts 1 and 2? dot hack 1234 + anime? The Longest Journey + Dreamfall???
Or maybe back to Baldur's Gate with Imoen Romance mod?! too many games... so little time!

EDIT: Oh! Ninja Gaiden for the world! Although truthfully I was raised on Ninja Gaiden 2 : The Dark Sword of Chaos :P

Oh and added links to youtube videos of all the games lol

Since i played Tsukihime i'm fond of Visual Novel so i've played somes since i finished it.
But english version aren't legions.
I'm playing Dividead, which in my opinion is a very nice, horror eroge with a good story.
I'm played also Castle Fantasia 2 but i got crash on specific scenes i don't know why, so i don't have totally finished it.
I'm also playing Bible Black but ... it's definitively too hardcore for me lol.
I will try after that Brave Soul and Ever17...
So if you know good visual novels (eroge or not) wich had a great story (not only pr0n) and an english version i'm listening to you guys :).
And if you know others games like like Dividead it would be nice. :)

I haven't tried Dividead yet... I might look into it! You might like these maybe :

The Visual Novel that got me into visual novels is... Phantom of the Inferno
Here's a japanese trailer for the game
Here's a review... http://www.rpgfan.com/reviews/phantomof ... index.html

I really loved it!
Oh and there was Planetarian... it's short and not technically a visual novel but wonderful nonetheless
Here's a little trailer with english subtitles
Here's the translated site http://planetarian.insani.org/

Also I preordered YUME MIRU KUSURI :: A Drug That Makes You Dream, because I was really impressed by the style, I hope it'll be good..!
Here's the opening to the game~

I have heard about Phantom of Inferno... But there is an english PC-Version?
While searching on the web i have found that the PC version (with HScene) is only in Japanese
but there is an "All-Age" version released as a DVD playable on a DVD Player.
Maybe i made a misunderstood :?

No, you had it right, I was referring to the english DVD "all-age" version.
It's still a great game in my opinion, even though I wish we had the new Phantom Integration for the PC...
I think Rightstuf.com said it ships worldwide if you want to deal with it. If you get it, you could make an image with the disc and then play it in a regionless software DVD player; PowerDVD, WinDVD or other player.

You won't be missing much on the H. Phantom's H is, well, all right... (if I put it nicely)
I don't know about the DVD version, but Phantom Integration came with a small booklet and a bonus CD, which included few mp3, wallpapers, gun viewer, and I think a few other things.
Maybe that's another reason to get Phantom Integration :D

I also recently played Planetarian (PS2 version)
To sum it up, it was a Key game condensed into 1 hour. It was good.
But I think it was too short for its price... ($35)

Phantom of the Inferno is really nice as a DVD visual art novel. Message loved it IIRC and I've found it interesting as far as I've played though I havnt played much yet since I havnt even finnished tsukhime..

That's a bit much for planetarian, though it's a very good game imo. Even if it's a bit short but I really like the setting and ending.. it was sad..

Most DVD games will have a password save feature, including Phantom of the Inferno DVD;
You might be able to just use a DVD player's resume feature, but I wouldn't count on that!
oh lol
I made a couple wallpapers a long time ago when I first finished Phantom of the Inferno...

EDIT: YUME MIRU KUSURI :: A Drug That Makes You Dream is shipping!
Plus in the Peach Princess newsletter it says...
Then we're happy to announce a sweeping price reduction on all
Hirameki International games, bringing these excellent titles down by $10-15.
Now you can play their outstanding titles like Ever 17 and Ai Yori Aoshi and
Animamundi for under $30, and DVD-based games like Hourglass of Summer and Tea
Society of a Witch are under $15. Enjoy the new lower prices!
Good for us! [sounds bad for buisness though...]
