3d Realms shuts down

Unread postby solopy567 » May 10th, 2009, 11:11 pm

Yes, the developers of Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein, and Max Payne , 3d Realms, have shut down. The fate of the game they have been developing, Duke Nukem Forever, is unknown at this time.

Oh yeah I've heard about that. I think one of them said it wasn't a finacial move or something like that. Although I'm given the impression people complained too much and they decided to shut it down and probably continue thier work without anyone comapling on why it isn't out yet I guess.

Again? I wonder why this doesn't surprise me.

They didn't develop Wolfenstein or Max Payne. In fact they haven't done anything in the last 10 years since Duke Nukem 3d.

Duke Nukem Forever was listed as vaporware a long time ago, I'm suprised the studio still even existed.

That's not that odd. After twelve-someting years, the money-stack tends to be depleted.

It's sad though, the concept art looked sweet.

I feel bad for saying this, but I think we saw this coming many years ago <.<

Funny post by the way Zensunni.
