well i dont think you can find something....since .dat became a rare case of a "standard" (note the quotes) for data packaging
for what i've read every company could
have its own format to make .dat, heck even I used that extension for a project a year ago using Java so....
so...i think (and can be mistaken) that you would actually need someone who is able to reverse-engineer the .dat and figure which parts
are the actual music....
