Translator-wannabe corner! (fr anybody who is lrning jpse)

Unread postby zweiterversuch » January 27th, 2009, 9:13 pm

well...

since there is some people who is learning japanese and might try to translate some stuff, I tought they should have a place where other guys/girls with a little more experience might help to edit or correct their....translated stuff.

why do I do this?

hell if I know.

now...

I have just translated this:

it is the eight page of the Tuskihime based doujinshi "the gospel of the laughing moon"
by some japanese guy.

I just wanted to ask somebody whether it was translated correctly or not.

here is the original.

thanks for your help.

NOTE:
the title of this thread was supposed to be:

Translator-wannabe corner! (for anybody who is learning japanese and is too ashamed to ask his/her instructor for advice since he/ she (the instructor, I mean) isn't too fond of manga, anime and that stuff.)

....long, isn't it?

It's translated correctly...and the only thing that I could read in the untranslated part is: "sukoshi [blank]ku mo aru ga.." (I can't remember how to read that kanji and what it means... -_- )

It should be "I'm a little scared", I think.
"...Whatever."
"...Not interested."

I don't know why... but I think it lacks some impact...any ideas how I create that "Pow! in your face!" feeling?

Ok, that's enough. Scanlation is most definitely NOT on-topic in these forums. Locked, official warning, you know the drill.
