D4rks0ul, nice specs. You can basically play any game out there with the highest amount of detail, no?

Hm, sorry I can't take pictures right now. Guess I'll just post in my specs for now.

PC#1 :: Desktop
Processor : Intel Core2 Duo E6550 2.33 GHz
Memory : 3GB Ram
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT (using an 8600GT right now cause I have yet to buy a PSU with the connector for that card.)
Hard Drive : 300GB
Operating Systems : Windows Vista; openSUSE Linux

Monitor : ViewSonic E72f+ (CRT, I may have to replace this next.) 70Hz @ 1280x1024
Mouse : Nortek Activo (it's a 5-button mouse with a simple ergonomic design. I can't find those other mice brands from where I live -_-)
Keyboard : feh, generic.

PC #2 : Laptop
Processor : Intel Core2 Duo 1.66 GHz
Memory : 1GB Ram
Video Card : Intel GMA 950 DDDD:
Hard Drive : 120 GB
Operating Systems : Windows XP; openSUSE Linux (inactive)

Monitor : 17" 1280x800
Mouse : Same as PC # 1, wireless ftw.

also, i think a thread similar to this existed already. Probably way too old though.

Updated my post with pictures. As you can see I love the red.

It's the opposite for me. I keep saving up for a PS3, but just when I have enough money, I change my mind and buy something else (usually PC related).

Forgot to describe my Widescreen :P

Kontrast: 5000:1
2ms

And, Logitech mouse and Keyboard (Black) and Labtec Loudspeaker with an subwoofer, all toghether (just) ca 50 or 60 Watt, but it still has a great bass when the equalizer is correctly configurated :)

C'mon, it'll be fun! Besides, it looks like there's other computers here that can beat mine... (wish I still worked at CompUSA so I could use employee discount and buy new stuff).

I like yours too! A friend of mine has a case similar to that, I always thought the turbine engine fan was pretty cool.

Whoah, I'd have expected people to have more up-to-date machines in here... Lots of older boxes on display. Good thing not everyone's so power-hungry.

Doesn't apply to me, though. Compiled a new mid-to-high range kit exactly one year ago:
Gigabyte P35-DS3P
Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.66GHz (4x333MHz bus, 4MB cache, hardware virtualization) with Scythe Infinity cooler
Kingston HyperX 2x1GB RAM, PC2-6400 (DDR2 800MHz, dualchannel, CL4)
GigaByte GeForce 8600GT VGA, PCIe x16, 256MB DDR3 (80nm, passive cooling, DirectX 10 support)
2x Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 120GB HDDs on Promise TX2000 RAID-1
Seagate Barracuda ATA V 120GB
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB
Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB

Encased by a beautifully simple and silent Antec Sonata-III, with an EarthWatts 500W 80+ PSU with active power factor compensation. Visual output delivered by a Samsung SyncMaster 205BW 21" widescreen LCD, 1680x1050, and the Sony SuperData VPH-1251QM triple-CRT running at 800x600x32@85Hz, 650 lumen over 120" screen diagonal.

Other than for silence, I designed this machine to be able to run everything, but not necessarily at high framerates. Playing Crysis on full resolution and high quality gave me decent enough performance early in the game, but later on as levels grew more open it had to be toned down significantly. Upcoming upgrades will include a real audiocard and something to replace those slow DiamondMaxes with... Thinking about a raptor, but those are expensive. SSDs are too much of a mess right now for me. Any good ideas are welcome.

@marus, thx, well the Turbine is just a "second" fake fan in front of an 140mm fan :P it just gets moving by the air that gets sucked in ^^
