@ jatts,

I think this will be extremely useful to you.

no offense at _all_, but the colors kinda hurts my eyes :\
The pictures are cool, but the colors are really detracting from them

Keep drawing :o

Sure I'll look into that. I think I know what you mean too, some have colors that just don't seem to match well right? I can see that in my 2nd Two-Face picture the hair and background look weird. But most of the time I like to use rich colors and give it a cartoony effect instead of realism. That's just what I do. I never really put color themes into consideration before anyways...

Besides the color, how are the other aspects? BTW the Two-Face pics and Nanaya pic were done with a mouse. The last two were drawn, then scanned and colored in photoshop. I have no tablet. :(

The first Ciel one was great, though the face/eyes seemed a little off to me, and the Ciel/Wolverine one was OK, but I dunno, something just doesn't sit right there. As for the others....well, they were done with a mouse, and it's a hell of a lot better than anything I could do, but I think they could definitely be better.

Rich colors can be great. But uhm considering what colors you put next to each other can make a huge difference. Rich colors are considered rich not because of their purity but what colors are next to them that bring out their purity. Having two colors of equal saturation and value next to each other is asking for something very clashy.
One major thing you should try is to shade with colors instead of adding black. It will help a lot. Oh and if you use photoshop to color, you might find it easier to do the whole thing in monotone and then use a giant fuzzy brush to color on another layer set to overlay on top of the drawing.

Anyways, if you don't want to bother with color, ignore the last paragraph.

The rest of it, well how mean do you want me to be? :D

lol i drew something random when messing with markers and pens. might be fun ya?

It's pretty rough, once again, as I inked it free hand (didn't do a decent sketch beforehand).

I'd put it under type moon crap, but it's not REALLY type moon stuff, just inspired. :p

As for the rest I already know some problems, the spray tool in the 2nd Two-Face picture makes it look like ms paint and it just looks weird. The heads and bodies are kinda wobbly and I need to work on that better. When using gradients, I need to put more effort into it. Is there anything I missed?

I made it last year. This was my first attempt at drawing anime. It was done on ms paint. I know it is really really bad but I don't have any interests in drawing cartoons. I'm more of an Autocad guy.
