poor you. singapore's government is strict as hell, and effective too. i'll never forget the look at my cousin's face when i took out chewing gum from deep inside my luggage.

Malaysia huh? Nice...

Hey, waitaminute. Dude.

Can you see if you can obtain copies of Tsukibako or F/HA there? I mean; it'd be fantastic if you could.

Then you could like just sell it to me over the Causeway, and we'd be like illegal smugglers or something XD

Btw, my mother works there too. She's got a company-paid deluxe suite in the J.W Marriott.

It's a pain getting from SG to K.L sometimes though. 6 hours coach ride...My goodness.

Do you know how to get from SG to K.L by train? I heard it's not such a bad experience.

P.S Just wondering, are you Malay, Cheena, Indian or...?

Sorry to interrupt your chatting boys, but i'm from Mexico. And very proud. The problem is, there are almost 0 anime TV channels, there are almost none and super very hard to find otaku stores, and it's not very common (1/2000 of young students) to play VN such as Tsukihime.

But we have the most important thing. The Best Food EVER!.

Australia is much the same. 0 anime channels (cartoon channels do NOT count, obviously), a few otaku stores which suck (hardly get any new stock, and like i said in another thread, they charge you like crazy). The one shot anime fans (guys who watch single animes, such as just bleach or naruto) are increasing in number, but they are annoying.

The main difference in Mexico and Australia is the good food. We don't have any

You're kidding about the food right, -[J1N]-?

The last my friends and I went there, one of them realised that he gained like 3 or 4 kilos after we reached home.

Dude, the fish there is fantastic. Sashimi there should be damn fresh. How can you say you don't have any good food?

Personally, the only place that doesn't have 'good' food per se would probably be like the Sahara Desert or something >.>

...This is turning into another 'culture' thread, isn't it?

When i said good food i kind of meant 'Australian' food. There are good food around, but only tourists seem to eat them =P

I don't really know a lot of places that serve 'damn fresh' sashimi, but i'm sure there are some in a lot of countries as well. Lots of Australian food stores are just a collection of stores that sell food that come from other countries.

Least it is to me, you tourists know more than we do.

Well let's get back to the topic (lol)

In Mexico there aren't any otaku stores. 0!!! I mean, you have to buy American Imported Anime DVD's from music and movie stores, and the collection only ranges on the classic ones, such as Evangelion. There are no such things as a place to buy manga or imported games.

That's why imports cost a ball and a half here... Though there is an otaku-ish store where I live, but it sucks balls too... I haven't even gone there for more than 3 years.
