Ever 17. Best mindfuck ever. Also best H-scene ever. (The people who've played it know what I'm referring to)

Yume Miru Kusuri is also great, yet incredibly messed up at times. So messed up in fact, that at one point the music alone made me literally sick in my stomach. Then again, I'm pretty sensitive to that kind of stuff as I went through a similar situation in the past, so it might just be me...

I thought that was what you were referring to, and I agree wholeheartedly.
That scene was made of win and awesome.

To the OP: I'd recommend what has already been mentioned along with the following, Crescendo, Kana Little Sister, Kingdom (fan translated I believe, will have to check later), and for an even older classic Divi Dead.

Going out of print, so buy it while you can. For that matter, all Hirameki titles are going out of print, so buy your Phantom of Inferno NOW!

Cool, thanks.

The only Hirameki title I'm missing is Hourglass of Summer, but I'm not sure if I want to get that one =/.

Ever 17 and yume Miru Kasuri as mentioned are great games, But yeah Yume is a little messed up xD, but is cool anyway.

Also Wind -a breath of the Heart- Re:gratitud is a great one, and the english pacht translation is avaible.
-Kana Little Sister
-Figures of Happines
-Lets Meow Meow xD
-Snow Drop
-Tokimeki Chek-In
-Little My Maid

and an old school one I really loved was Nocturnal Illusion.
Signature too large, image removed. Try reading the rules next time.

Hmmm... If you ask me, Little My Maid was terrible. Don't play it unless you're playing for the sex. Tokimeki! Check-In was so-so, again mostly about the sex. But it's funny to play a game with a dozen gettable characters I guess. :-) No idea about Figures of Hapiness, but afaik Let's Meow Meow is another porn-only game. Kana ~Imouto~ on the other hand is fantastic.

I used to like Nocturnal Illusions, but when I look back at it, it is way overboard with the sex scenes. I'd probably hate it if I'd ever played it again. >__>

I'd recommend Snow Sakura... I just finished it and i must say that im impressed...

Meh.. But im a sappy guy that likes 'true love' romance novels anyway... The sex scenes are quite limited, so i guess there's not much problem... Definitely not 'over the top' scenes, like Meow Meow and *puke* Black Bible.. They're very, uh.. gentle... LOL Best way i can describe it to ya...

And most importantly IMHO.. Its damn funny. A whole lot of comedic moments that would remind you of animes like GreenGreenTV and Love Hina.

Kana Little Sister as stated is good actually (I can't stand sister incest shit, but this worked)
Reading Divi Dead atm, it's 10 years old and the graphic is very outdated and useless, sound is MIDI.. characters are stereotype, h-scenes boring (although uncensored!), the interaction sucks, the translation is dodgy, but I still like it for some reason..

Probably because the awesome atmosphere and the story weights all that up. There's gore, death, occultism, mystery.. what else can you need in life. Perhaps an ancient vampire princess.

Kana ~ Imouto spoilers coming up.

This story has been one of my all time favourites for a long time even before I woke up to the fact there were something like 5 endings and not just the one that I thought there was. I liked Dividead too notwithstanding its many shortcomings (the main one being the lack of sound files, but that is another story).

schwartz100 has been banned for openly posting spoilers. Also, Divi-Dead is fully voiced... Unless of course you're playing the warez version, in which case you need to shut up.

Kana is indeed a great game story-wise, a very deep and touching one, it can make you seriously think about life. I also found it really sad, certainly even depressing.

Definitely not cheap entertainment you'd play for the minimal ero scenes.

Oh btw if you're into older (read: ancient ) stuff, Season of Sakura and True Love are classics imo. True Love is a real 'dating sim' in that it has a pretty strong simulation aspect (not so unlike the recent PS2 title Persona 3, for instance - that immediately reminded me of this old game :D) while Season of Sakura honestly has quite a good story; both have a high replay value.
Season of Sakura was re-released in JAST USA memorial pack with very reasonable price: http://www.jastusa.com/Merchant2/mercha ... ry_Code=JU
Not sure if True Love is listed anywhere these days *feels ancient*.

Personally I liked Figures of Happiness, although the only two female heroines who have interesting story lines. I also liked Wind a Breath of Heart.

I actually found Kana overhyped. It was predictable and unimaginative, in my opinion. But maybe that's part of studying medicine, who knows.
