Doujin's OST.

Unread postby Raven » November 26th, 2007, 4:29 am

Since I assume anyone here had played at least one doujin. Which one has the best OST (Original Sound Track) for you?

I have played quite a few game and up until this point I must say Kana: Little Sister has the best OST ever. 2 out of the 3 theme songs are so beautiful (I like Shiroi Kisetsu and Anata e), the instrumental tracks are also mostly impressive.

I like the theme song in Wind: Breath of Heart but the OST as a whole is pretty average for me.

Both Kana and Wind aren't doujin games, though...

Yeah, I think you're mixing something up.

Doujin = Fan-made work
Visual Novel = Computer book thingy with pictures and music

I guess my favorite would be Planetarian. Overall the soundtrack is pretty simple, but it still has this kind of mesmerizing charm. Though yeah, that's not a doujin either...

Even from the little that I heard from the Ef - a tale of the two - demo, I think its OST takes the cake. Fate Stay Night and Tsukihime are also pretty good. Then again, there's only so many visual novel games that I've played...

haha, Tsukihime? That's gotta be one of the most annoying VN soundtracks ever. :D

Seriously though, most I've Sounds music is quite nice, and there's of course Key Sounds Label. If we're talking translated games, the eroge Private Nurse has good piano music as I recall... I still love the Divi-Dead midis, believe it or not.

It wasn't that bad when I started reading... then I got to the point about midway through Ciel's route(did her second after Arc) where I renamed the folder I had the music in because it was too annoying :( I turned it back on after a bit though because it does add to the atmosphere... it's just a little annoying sometimes.
