There's a new Type-Moon game on the way for the PSP:

Screenshots are here, and info is here and here.

So far it's only been announced for Japan, but maybe someday...

Here's the character page, too.

And finally, Gao gao gao...

Every time I see that pic of Saber in the lion suit eating the meat, I feel the same weakness to the cuteness all over again!

Nice, a fighting game based on my favorite anime/visual novel.

I'm going to stay out of this one.

Would anyone here who speaks Japanese mind letting us know what is being said, and shown on-screen, in the promotional video linked to earlier?

too bad it has this kind of design...
how come they never released an fsn fighting game like melty blood? i'm sure it would have had a lot of success (even more than melty blood)

Just hope that French Bread's April Fools prank becomes true.

Gosh that was so cruel, I kinda believed it until I saw the specs and read about French-Bread's history with pranks. ._." >_>.

Edit: zomg, I got a completely different banner instead of the Notorious Brand one. O_O. I suppose it was a reference to ToHeart? XD. Oh... it cycles periodically. o_o. lol

Are Japanese UMDs able to work on PSPs from North America? If so I have a real reason to buy the PSP.

Well, even if Japanese UMDs don't work...

A PSP could still play it if you uploaded some emulator program onto memory card along with the game data. *shrugs* Although, I'm not sure how that works because I never bothered really with many PSP games.

While movie UMDs are region-coded (to match DVD regions) game UMDs are not.

Which means that Japanese or European PSP games will work on North American PSPs, and vice versa.

So while it would be nice to see F/TC translated for Europe and North America, a Japanese version is fine too.

lol, but I read somewhere that Melty Blood started out the same way.

Who knows, if enough Japanese fans badger, it might start out as something.

Well, it'll likely never happen given: Anime studios can barely go away from the DVDs. I remember when ADV Films discussed why they couldn't translate games---even though their company attempted it.

In any case, this is a fighter. So unless it's Melty Blood plot material---should be fine just to import and play in Japanese if the controls don't say....suck.
