Who would you have for a Servant?

Unread post by Ellume » May 10th, 2007, 2:06 pm

So your a master and you just summoned a servant. Who is it?

I'm into Naginatas right now so I would take Musashibo Benkei. Lancer. He is the guy that was a monk turned bandit who stood on a bridge and robbed people (often their swords). After robbing 999 people he met Yoshitsune who defeated him. He then became a follower of Yoshitsune.

Don't know about what his Noble Phantasm, probably his naginata, would do. Maybe disarm or steal peoples weapons :P

Edit: After reading a bit about him he seems known for whats called Benkei no Tachi Ōjō (Standing Death of Benkei) where he defended a bridge against an army and remained standing even after his death by many arrows. So he held back an army even after his death. Maybe his Noble Phantasm would be just that. He can effectively defend a place even for some time after his own death.

You so know your going end up dead with a servant who has a noble phantasm that involves its own death >.>

King Leonidas. Berserker.

He would kill 5 servants in the first war only to be defeated by the last. His Noble Phantasm would be a Reality Marble in which he creates a neverending well that he kicks the enemy into.

don't mind. as long as it's a cute female with nekomimi.

but seriously hum...i'd prefer a tactician or a spell caster, but the idea of having bruce lee just sounds too awesome...then again, his death was too recent i guess...he would fall in the berserker type, no? besides nunchuks, i didn't see him using other weapons much...

but if it really has to be someone ancient, i'd go back to spell caster and pick moses!
i'm afraid to even find out what kind or noble phantasm he'd have...

My understanding is that anyone can become the berserker class. That it makes any hero even stronger but they go insane and are harder to control. So Bruce Lee could be berserker but otherwise.. maybe assassin?

Hanzo as Assassin maybe? : )

Oh oh! Or what about another of the Gorgon sisters? Medusa could turn people into stone, yes, awesome, but the other two were immortal if I'm not mistaken ^^

Or maybe La Fayette as Rider : D (Any US americans who'd agree with me?)

Or... hmmm... If one had to choose a hero from your home country, perhaps Karl XII as Saber : )

Nero Chaos as a Berserker.

<_< He'd probably kill me, but it'd be nice to watch it all get messed up.

Albeit what he does with the Holy Grail....I dare not ask.

Well, in terms of historic figures, I'd be cool to see Musashi as Assassin.

For Saber, it might be been nice to see the guy who Gatts/Gutts from Berserk was based off. He was an Irish mercenary I believe. Can't remember his name.

Why not a "real" irish hero? : D

I wasn't aware irish mythology was so rich until I checked out Cuchulainn (Lancer) on wikipedia and clicked around : )

I would choose Wolverine as Berserker.

A mutant, Wolverine possesses animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, and a healing factor that allows him to recover from virtually any wound. This healing ability enabled the supersoldier program Weapon X to bond the near unbreakable metal alloy adamantium to his skeletal system that includes razor-sharp retractable claws. He is also a master of hand-to-hand combat. ~Straight from Wikipedia XP

He would pwn. :D

For a real Hero, I would get any soldier that survived World War II as Archer. Of course, I would cheat a little bit and, instead of using a bow, I'll give him an M16 that has some kind of magic bullet that can pierce through...uhhh...magic shields. =p

Have you seen Enemy at the Gates? I'm not sure about the german, but the russian sniper was a real person : )

Taking just any soldier who survived could end up kinda awkward (I mean, imagine if you got a submarine captain or something, someone who almost never fires a gun : )

Up until the massive mana his healing uses causes him to poof ;)

I like the idea of taking a WW2 soldier as an Archer class. But yeah keep it to a sniper or something :)

The Irish merc wasn't a part of mythology. He was a historical figure. I don't remember his name though because it's been so long.

Well, his healing factor would not use any mana because of one thing, it's his mutant power. To Wolverine, healing is just like digesting food. No mana is needed.

Yeah, a sniper would be good but any WWII soldier that have a high amount of kills would be better suited.

I personally would go with a hero from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms story. There are so many to choose from in that era.

A machinegun tower operator? Those would be the ones with the highest kill ratio ;)
