Is it me or did the AI get more agressive in the last patch.

More fun this way though, I hate fighting a turrtle.

oh durr, I just realized in the wall-of-text of spec info on the game settings launcher thing, it includes pixel shader info. >_<;

Nonetheless, it still shows that my Radeon 9600 does indeed support 1.1 and 2.0. Though, it just saying that little bit of info isn't exactly going to keep it from crashing...

EDIT: I should clarify what I mean by crash. Right after the load screen for a match, the entire screen goes black (even in windowed) and the computer is completely unresponsive - there's no sound or anything either. I have to manually restart by using the physical reboot button on my PC. (though one time it automatically restarted instead of staying locked-up)

NEVERMIND - PROBLEM SOLVED (I guess updating graphics drivers really DOES work, even if it's just 0.1 version up) Actually it was my CPU overclock; dropping it by 50MHz fixed it.

EDIT 2: on an unrelated note, I noticed the game lists Nine Lives Blade Works as "Nine Rives Blade Works" -_-;

EDIT 3: hah, I found another error - the Schloss Einzbern level is named "Schloss Einzbren"

I don't know if this is known already. At least I don't remember seeing it in this thread.

Unchecking the option above "16bit..." enables physics for hair, clothes and breasts(Well, of course!).

lol wut. All I did was update my Xtreme-G Catalyst graphic drivers from v9.1 to v9.2 and suddenly the pixel shaders work fine.

EDIT: Turns out it's actually my CPU overclock that was causing it. When I did the driver update, I put it back at stock speeds. Even though I've tested my OC to be stable for hours in Prime95, CFF still doesn't like it for some reason. All I had to do was drop it by 50MHz and it worked perfectly.

Since my CPU was bottlenecking me some, putting more of the load on my GPU (AKA using pixel shaders) has actually given better framerates. Now I can force 4x adaptive anti-aliasing and still get a solid 30 fps. :D (6x, the max for my Radeon 9600, is a bit too slow...) Before I was only forcing 16xAF with no AA.

EDIT: Ironically, with the v9.2 graphic drivers, I discovered that forcing AF in CFF didn't work. (AA still worked though) Downgrading back to v9.1 fixed that though.

And negum, with the physics option, Rider's hair actually seem hair-like and not a solid hunk of plastic XD

Is the mirror for the update patch version 112 (version 1.12) down or something? I can't download it.

That's because 1.13 isn't on the mirror since it's only an incremental update (1MB in size). So you'll need to be at 1.12 before you can use it.

Either way, here's the 1.13 patch: http://www008.upp.so-net.ne.jp/amc/CFFU ... tch113.exe

Also, for those of us that understand English better than Japanese (which should be 99.99% of us), here are modded Launcher and PadConfig exe's translated into english:

Well, that's the typical L/R confusion.

Yup, now it's all jiggly and bouncy. XD ...... Oh, yeah you're right. The hair looks better.

What I'm saying is, I have the 1.13 patch. But I don't have the 1.12 patch.

oooooooooh... well, seeing that the mirror patch download site isn't working right, here's some mirrors:

v1.12 patch (complete)

v1.13 patch (incremental)

v1.13rb patch (netplay fix)

English Translation for Configuration Launcher

EDIT: Removed 1.10 & 1.11, changed 1.12 to complete patch I uploaded on MediaFire

You should see two big buttons just a little further down the page. Click the one with the blue DOWN arrow (i.e., not the one with the blue dollar sign). It'll open up a new page.
Once at this new page, click the link text saying CFFUpdatePatch112.rar or whichever patch it is you were trying to DL.

For random information, the left button (the one I'm telling you to click) means 'Normal Download', while the one on the right is something along the lines of 'Premium Download'.

Yeah, I managed to get to the DL page but I still can't download it. Either that, or there's something wrong with my ISP. My speed is really slow lately, even slower that dial-up.

When I tried, it took a while for the link to load... but if you are getting an error message after waiting for a while, then I dunno... :(

I've got the patch v1.12(complete - ~52MB) on my hard drive.
If someone still needs it and it's not against the rules (would this count as warez?) I could try to upload it.

yup, I get an error message that says something like "the server at [insert site here] is taking too long to respond". Same goes to the DL mirrors in the official Lights website.

So you can't use Bazette, Avenger, or Dark Sakura if you're using 1.13?

You can use Bazette and Avenger. They're unlocked.
Dark Sakura is unavailable, though.

Do I need a hacked gamestate to use them (and if so, where can I get one?), or can I unlock them by playing?

Edit: Huh. The gamestate I found DOES have Dark Sakura unlocked. Dark Saber, too. Neither of them have voices in battle, though. Dark Sakura has an opening speech. And Dark Sakura's moves seem to be missing their effects.

Dark Saber only has the Assist voice

Hmm. I do wonder if they are going to be finished and made into a patched release. That would be nice.
