Ehhhhhhhh... maybe? It doesn't seem to, but then, sometimes it looks like it does. My personal belief is that it works with any move that uses the mana gauge, including team attacks. I could be wrong, though. But in my opinion, the damage it does is totally worth flailing about madly and hoping it works.

As far as I know you can counter everything with the right timing (besides grabs).
Only the first few frames trigger the counter and if it doesn't trigger you're invincible for as long as avalon lasts.

I've noticed even things like GARcher's sword throwing trigger Avalon.
I can't wait for the new characters to be implemented!

What, you mean Dark Saber and Dark Sakura? Do we have any clue on the progress for those?

Yeah I was talking about those two, ummm haven't heard anything about them, but it's not as though they'd scrap a character halfway through development so I am sure they are being worked on

v1.20 is out, they say "characters" were added, no doubt it's those two :) (Haven't finished DL-ing yet)

Yep. It's them. And a matching stage.

Some other changes:
-New Difficulty : Hard
-Arcade Mode : new boss fight, no random master servant combinations, some servants fight without a master
Internet-Rule 20: "Nothing is to be taken (too) seriously." <-- So true. :mrgreen:

Anyone know why I can't play it via network, well the game starts, but with a huge lags and then disconnects.

Ah, dark saber is so... :D

5b6b236ccc (wallslam) 5b6b236b = Real hp-drainer ;D

And not to mention D. Sakura's 214b mana and HP-stealer. steal 1/5 of your hp back, and about 2 bars of mana in just about 11 hits xD

Yeah, and about the arcade mode, it's shaped like a sort of "story mode", where you face characters in fights that look like the ones from the VN (Lancer schoolyard fight, Berserker forest fight, Assassin outside the temple, and of course, Gil at the grail infested temple)

The game's soundtrack have also been updated (Not all BGMs, but some of them, no new Emiya though D:) And the nextplay has been upgraded (My connection is acting up atm, so I haven't tested myself, but others say it's a great improvement).

Despite the Hard difficulty, I could still predict the AI's moves... well, at least I could copy some combos that I never knew existed before.

Best bit about this game? GArcher has Excalibur (during UBW he can use it :D). He can also use Gae Bolg during Excalibur (214B, 6B).

I made a small mod that replaces CFF's UBW theme with a shortened mix I made of F/SN's Emiya, one for both the game and anime version.
