Huh? What UBW route did YOU play?
The whole reason he's trying to kill shirou is out of regret.

Anyway, it realistically wouldn't stack, the second reality would probably just overwrite the first.
After all, what would it look like? The two blade works look totally different, and two infinities worth of swords is weird.

Well sorry, Archer followed the path "With" regrets...

Their worlds are almost identical though... Just i dont think shiro's world has floating giant gears of death... maybe it does

Can shiro project gears!?

well archer was satisfied the way he lived in his dieing moment so at the time i guess it could be said that he felt no regrets during his lifetime. After becoming a counter guardian is a different story however. The torment of being betrayed by his own ideal caused him to in a sense finally grow up and accept the fact that his ideal was a foolish.

Its said that Archers is based off of a factory and in my eyes it seems like shirous is more based off of maybe the accident he remembers 10 years ago.

I am the bone of my sprocket.
Cogs are my body and axles are my blood.
I have created over a thousand gears.
Unknown to friction;
Nor known to slippage.
Have withstood torque to spin many mechanisms.
Yet those arrangements will never be epicyclic.

Lol I knew that was coming... Shirou's world doesn't have floating gears of death. I wonder if Archer can use those gears in battle though? If an enemy gets too close he just pulls it down and crushes them...

Maybe just before the rm collapses, all the cogs start to fall down, creating a turn of tide! =P

Snake: Metal Gear...! It can't be...!!

Anyway. Do the gears actually serve a purpose? Other than looking cool, I mean.

Its stated on http://ObviouslythisIsaFakeLink.com/fat ... e=Archer20
That during UBW, archer can place any weapon inside the rotating gears, and it will recieve a stat buff giving it 2 ranks higher than its initial rank
(this is one rank higher than a normal traced wep... So A ranked weps become EX)

Archer used it as a counter guardian when trying to defeat the defender of the crimson moon when the worlds end was imminent, Satsujinki had difficulty fighting back to this and had to retreat, but not after stabbing the dot on the RM causing it to collapse.

Also The cogwheels may also be a means to trap opponents in a crushing force

Thats not right, because on http://www.fakersrus.com/unlimitedgarworks/gears&fmt=18 it says that the gears are specifically used to hypnotize opponents with their rotating motion. This is actually the reason that Archer won against Berserker. Under the Mad Enhancement, Berserker became so simple minded that this simple spinning motion actually put him in a trance for several minutes before being crushed by Berserker's hands (when he attempted to play with them) and collapsing onto Archer, thus killing him. Its also said that these gears can be used to create an unlimited number of tokens, thus allowing him to win against Saber. As illustrated below:

"Hah, I see, I see! Yeah, thats so much more important than who my master is! You're right, kid!" - Lancer
"Therefore, give me tea." - Okazaki Tomoya.
