but if i could make a wish.... it would be given to ability to read peoples minds... Or the MEoDP without the headaches.... if things like that are unavailable
then i would like to...

Reshape everything i owned into my ideal image (house, car, etc), or more specific changing the image and reality of everything around me

BASICALLY.... my wish is to....
MOE up my town into a bishoujo harem anime dream town in which i become a main character

Yah....thats a good wish

Probably the simplest one I can think of: to never have to work and still obtain the few comforts that could make me happy for as long as I was alive.

Case in point, the ability to live comfortably without any outside interference: Ideally live in the countryside away from large cities, and raise a small family.

If the Grail is anything like the one in Fuyuki, I'd wish for nothing that it can give me.

I'd wish that I would always be content no matter what happens or that I would achieve enlightenment. That way, even if the holy grail goes berserk on the world. I would at least be content with what I have done and I wouldn't regret anything.

I second that. But if that's the case couldn't you wish for something that couldn't result in death or pain or is that even possible (something along the lines of : "I wish for laser vision!"

Hmm, yeah if the grail that would grant my wish was like the one in Fuyuki, I'd end up going insane from the isolation from other human contact, since I'm quiet sure that in order for anything not to mess with me it would destroy everything around me.

His wish was for the ultimate entertainment in his mind wasn't it? At least, I think that's what it became once he witnessed how the Grail caused that inferno at the end of the 4th Grail War, and he wasn't even trying to make that happen. Now, however, the ultimate entertainment for him is apparently to watch humans struggle to overcome inevitable destruction.

At least, that's how I interpreted it.

no, he's already "dead". one thing you can do is just pulling him out from the grail, create something like f/ha events.

Thread spoiler-tagged.

People, please don't force me to start another crackdown on untagged spoilers. If you do you WILL get banned, and I mean permanently.

Basically, the idea is this: Some people have not yet played Fate/stay night, or Tsukihime, or whatever game you're talking about. Don't spoil it for them.

Me? I just want some cake. That way, no matter how evil the Grail is, it can't hurt me. I mean, come on, how can you f*ck up a wish about a cake?!

This thread makes no sense. First, the Grail as people that played through the game knows it is pretty much useless as anything but a weapon, and even if it was untainted then it wouldn't just "grant wishes". It's isn't the Dragon balls people! It's is a limitless source of mana that can be used to do whatever you want. And I don't know if this could include unreasonable wishes, i.e. travel in time. Maybe wishing it like "shape the Universe like it was in 1987", but is that time traveling? Also, YOU would have to use the mana and give it that shape: seems way too hard to achieve.

As I'm saying, this isn't the Dragon Balls... even if there are 7 servants like the 7 dragon balls... Nevermind

Yes, but regardless. With an unlimited source of mana, one could do anything given the talent. Besides, there's nothing wrong with an all powerful weapon. I mean... Humanity will end by it's own hand so the Holy Grail is only one of an infinite ends for humanity.

I have a question. If one wishes for the most "evil" wish ever, would an equally "good" result come out with the "evil" wish?

The holy grail does not have a sense of good nor evil. It simply carries out it's task with no prejudice. If one were to consider a tool evil, then there is no good in the world. I would subscribe to the latter part of that sentence but for a different reason. Anyways...

I assume that you pose that question since the world is based on equal compensation. Thus, one evil must be countered with a good. However, that is not exactly the case. As in reality, acts do not have to be polar opposites to cancel. For example, if your wish were for all of the people in the world to die, then the price from the holy grail would be some of the magical energy stored within.
