Lucky People...

There is a problem with that idea:

Berserker and Saber have the same Luck Rank: B.

Gae Bolg will not kill him, and when you think of body structures, personal endurance, not to mention the sanity(or lack of) issues, Zerker getting stabbed is not a problem for him as opposed to saber.

Aside from that:

The theory works out.

as a matter of fact...
it isn't gae bolg. not THAT gae bolg, used by cu chulainn. moreover, it was shot as a normal projectile by gil, not as np

what he said. Even though throwing is Gae Bolg's correct usage, you need to activate it (call out its true name, etc)

Like Shirou , Gilgamesh isn't a wielder but an owner.

Yeah, but Shirou is able to activate them. (Excalibur)

The spear in Gil's vault is not Gae Bolg, but the spear that will one day become Gae Bolg.

All weapons have a model, which is what goldy locks owns. However a blueprint will not contain what will happen after the building is built.

The weapons in the vault have yet to be defined by their users history.

A bit off topic but is assassin's sword in the vault?

exactly. that's why some of it may be overpowered by the later nps, just like
how gungnir is overpowered by gae bolg.

I don't think so. it's just but a fine crafted sword, nothing more. even more "unknown" than berserker's stone axe, I think.

where did this post come from... it felt like it was in mid-topic on another discussion....

Well the luck check to stop Gae Bolg does not guarantee a dodge from it. A person with rank A luck could be hit with it...
honestly... it depends on their luck inside of the luck check in dodging XD

Having higher luck only lowers the chances of it hitting, so berserker could be hit by it, as well as saber

Assasins weapon is suposed to be created while he lived, and I don't think gil can get a weapon when he was already dead then.

that and it isn't a noble phantasm. gil doesn't get just about any sword into his vault, does he?

People, he has all the ORIGINALS. It is expected for him to have some sort of proto-katana, or maybe several of them on which every other katana were based, but if it is a sword made after his time he doesn't have it.

There's a katana in there towards the bottom.

look at the circled part. also, note the length and shape. too different... to be a base.

just because gil has a katana doesn't mean it's the base of what assassin uses though. it might be a base for one of those special ones like masamune/muramasa or whatever.

assassin's is an ordinary katana, like hundreds of others the samurais were using. it's his incredible raw skill that gives him the abilities he has, not a super weapon.

nasu agreed, don't bother him about it. :P
