the phenomenon that exist because people know them and stuff
as I recall in FSN that the more the hero is known the stronger they are, but also depends on the actual story of the heroes themselves
same goes for tatari's melty blood right?
I wonder which came first FSN or melty blood?
...Uhhh...tataris are familiars, Servants is a familiar as well though on a different level. Melty Blood came first but the term tatari can go back to Tsukihime with Len being Arcueid...well Shiki's tartari. (mind ye if I am mistaken, I have yet to read Kara no Kyoukai.)

[sigh] Why not mask the whole thread "spoilers"[/sigh]
Anyway... if you look at it, yeah... servants and tatari appearance are somehow similar. The fundamental difference is, a rumor has to exist to summon Tatari, while eirei existence during seihai sensou is ignited by the seihai itself and later on supported by their master's magical energy (od+mana), their fame constitutes their strength... but has no connecton to their existence itself.
I think i can somehow grasp the basics of servants. how are their summon, why do they exist... with the sole exception of Assasin.... In my head the question became similar to "egg and chicken"... Which are first and fundamental to the existence of eirei, their existence itself in the past, or the legend and fame that followed afterwards?? Because F/SN has the version of Sasaki Kojirou being a fictional hero created by human's mind. So i guess taking Assasin case, their existence (tatari and servants) are somehow the same.
