Tsukihime In-Game Music

Unread postby Mister Murder » September 24th, 2007, 12:56 am

I'm having some difficulties with my copy of Tsukihime's music and the EVER AFTER track.

After converting the files of EVER AFTER music from CD-DA to 'MP3 Audio', I placed them in the folder 'CD' in my 'Tsukihime' folder. Then, I renamed them 'track01.mp3' etc. etc.

Yet, I am unable to hear any in-game music when I play aside from special FX, like clock ticking or bell chimes. Any advice?

Try converting them into ogg instead. Mp3 support is buggy.

What ray_althor said is correct, but he forgot to explain why. Windows likes to hide known file extensions from the user, so in your case the files aren't called track01.mp3 but track01.mp3.mp3 . To prevent this from happening, go to Folder Options (in your explorer's Tools menu), open the View tab and disable the checkbox for "Hide extensions for known file types".

Hello;

I recently downloaded Ever After for use with Tsukihime, but the download comes 'Disc 01' containing 14 tracks, and 'Disc 02 -Complete Disk (Bonus)' containing 38 tracks, and with the first 14 in a different order.

Is there anywhere about where there's a listing of the canon arrangement for Tsukihime? I want to copy in tracks for the game that are 'correct'. The ordering seems to be Feelings, Lamplight, Sunny Place, etc, but given the difference in ordering, it gets ambiguous after track 7.

How many tracks are supposed to accompany the game, and which ones?

Thanks.
