I always found it funny how they could reach into that ungodly jumble of mismatched consonants and produce "Nero" as the spoken equivalent... Is there any particular reason why that's so, or is it just something completely random that evolved out of a joke?
Also, it's likely that we'll never get a reliable pronunciation of anything but Japanese names in Japanese (because of their strange way of pronouncing English words), so Arcueid is more or less open to interpretation.
