Tsukihime on Windows 7 or VirtualBox

Unread postby mccrash3000 » February 17th, 2010, 2:42 pm

Recently, i've bought a new PC with Windows 7 as OS. Since i've spent a lot of time away from the forum, i want to know if i can install the game on my PC, or if i can have some problems with W7.
Otherwise, i've thought to install it on a virtual machine (a software that emulates parts of hardware and old OS, like Windows XP, on a PC) that i've already installed on my PC. Does anyone know if the game will work this way?
This is the Wikipedia page of the VM, with all the informations about the hardware emulation:

Thanks a lot.

I don't know about the virtual machines, but I did an install of Tsukihime on Windows 7 Home Premium (I think, something like that) about a month ago, and it runs fine. Haven't done a full clear of all routes, so there could be issues somewhere, but it seems to have no problems so far

It works just fine *cleared all routes* and had no problems so I don't think you'll encounter any problems on your way dealing with Tsukihime on Windows 7.

If all else fails, there's always XP-Mode if you're on 7 Professional.
