How to pronounce Tsukihime?

Unread post by GuardianHX » October 18th, 2009, 5:24 am

Is it, "Tsu-key-he-may" or, "Tsu-key-hi-m"?

Which is correct? It's been bugging me for some time...

So Tsu-key-he-may would come close. Mind you, I've yet to hear an American pronounce anything 'Japanese' without cringing...

The next time I'm within your country's borders, I'll be sure to careful-I know Japanese on a elementary level, so hopefully it won't be too bad.

I can pronounce it perfectly, since Japanese phonetics are almost identical in my language. Just saying :P

The only weird part would be the "may" at the end. You have to ommit the very last sound of that syllable. That "ee" sound.
If you disagree, you are wrong.

So something along the line's of, "Tsu-key-he-m-*eh*"? With the "eh" being rather faint?

Yeah, that would be a fairly accurate description, I'd say.
