Tohno SHIKI

Unread postby VoidAvesta » December 25th, 2008, 5:29 am

i just finished reading the "Drinking, Dreaming Moon" side story in kagetsu tohya, and man i gotta say:
SHIKI didn't deserve anything of all the shit that happened to him, and i think he had lots of potential
as a good guy, i remember playing Tsukihime and i really though he was one of the lamest characters,
this side story really changed that perspective. And i really, REALLY hope he will get a second chance in the next melty game,
not as a badguy but with his sanity returned.

Tohno SHIKI equals Tragic.

Now if Shinji turned out like this

I can't really say. It is too bad that all that stuff happened to him but I still don't forgive him for what he did.

Sauce, please, because that really seems very hard to believe... Anyway, no, I didn't really change my mind after DDM. SHIKI is still a "bad guy", bad for him sure; all chance of him not ending in that situation seems out of his reach, but that only puts more "awesome points" on Kohaku's stats for showing how good her work is!! She is just THAT AWESOME! lol
"I settled for that shriek. Those dull vacant eyes... oiled cabbage stench of her...! [...] You know what? I'm sorry if I'm not gonna do this the way you want me to or the way you might. But I will not make an angel out of someone who wasn't an angel...!" -Chief Tyrol, on his beloved wife.
Have you heard about the saying that goes something like "drunk people and kids tell no lies"? Well, that's just a fallacy.

Definitely...
It really shows SHIKI in a totally different light...

It was kind of moving...
"...One must wait continuously, one must pursue endlessly.
They must realize that it was impossible to succeed yet
at the same time be capable of enduring patiently.
Is that... the story of a dream that shouldn't be waited upon?..."

Meh. It is supposed to show you that shiki changed due to roa's influence and the Tohno blood. I can forgive shiki since he himself wasn't a jerk until he inverted.
