Character Material and Talk?

Unread postby Arkenath » November 24th, 2008, 10:03 pm

I was reading through wikipedia and, finding a list of the dead apostles, i kept seeing things related to something called "Talk" and something else called Character Material. If anyone could fill me in on these things please do, they sound quite interesting and seem to provide information which would be good to know. Cheers and thanks.

Ehh.... Well....

Talk is a Side story nasu wrote some time ago.
It takes place some years after Tsukihime (Arc's true ending) and is the prolog for the never coming Tsukihime 2.
In this story we meet new characters like Merem and the forest of Einashe.. (I think that is the name) but we meet too old characters like Ciel and Shiki (the so called "Satsujinki".)

It is a nice story. You should be able to find the translated version in the Beastlair forums.

Character Material.
....I don't know what that is or where you can get it. You should ask Raitei or Kansho (they are the most knowledgable of this in this forum. Seriallies should know it too but I haven't heard anything from him since a while ago...)

I hope I have helped you in some way.

hell yes, I'm going to bests lair to find the translation right now. I've heard way too much about Satsujinki and still don't know who he is, so it's pissing me off lol As for the other one, thank you and I shall either PM those people or hope they randomly read this :/

If you pay enough, almost anything worth getting can be bought. After all, this is stuff released in the last fifty years...

You may just find it a bit hard because you don't know any moon runes to get it from a Japanese owner. D:

it's true. the reason why wikipedia has so much info on so many dead apostles, why everyone knows what ort is, and why other magnificent wonders of the nasuverse are revealed are all because of character material.

... unfortunately, it's hard as all hell to find.
Whenever I go on, everyone leaves the Tsukihime forums. 'Cause I just fail like that.

It's true.

Compared to Fate/Zero material (which I got thanks to my buddies in Japan), Character Material is hard to find.

Would my best bet be to actually ask around while IN Japan?

Unless you have contacts in Japan who are willing to help you, then your best bet is to ask around while in Japan.

You can find the translated intro and 3 prelude of the supposed "Tsukihime 2" here: http://www2.ocn.ne.jp/~typemoon/tsukihi ... ihime2.htm

It gives a little bit of extra info. I'm sure there's more on the web if you look hard enough. As you probably know, you can find most of these translations on beast's lair.
