Tsukihime Saved Data

Unread postby Undream » June 8th, 2008, 8:21 pm

Ok i coudnt think of a better title, so bear with me.
Is there a way to basically reset the whole game data, so it doesnt read any ending you may have completed, and force you to get the true endings
before the others?

I tried moving away all the save files, but it didnt work...

You should still be able to play through again and get the true ends. The happy ends are only available after you already get the true end.

That said, rename gloval.sav to gloval.bak in your Tsukihime directory should do the trick.

I think that deleting it may do the trick too. Obviously you'll end up losing EVERYTHING that you had already gained.

Have you heard about the saying that goes something like "drunk people and kids tell no lies"? Well, that's just a fallacy.

That would be why I told him to rename it instead of deleting it, so he could go back if he wanted to...

On the subject of save data, is there any way to erase an indivdual save and not the entire thing?

As in delete a suspended reading while not deleting your images, endings, etc? Each suspend is called save1.dat, etc. etc. depending on which slot you saved it in, so you should be able to just move those out of the directory.

Are there only 20 slots ? Is there any way to extend that ? Is there any way to keep my old save files while I reuse the present slots?

If I remember well, the saved data files are savedata01, etc, or something; you can make a backup of them and put them in some folder to keep them when you overwrite them
