arc.sar file?

Unread postby KANA » May 31st, 2008, 7:04 am

I have downloaded the file for installing Tsukihime. The problem now is that... The installer asks for a file: arc.sar in drive E, Folder Tsukihime.
How do I obtain this file? I haven't seen anyone complaining about it, rather, they have already played it.

Does any of you have the file?

Would you mind sending it to me?

Help, anyone?

That file you downloaded is only the English patch. You need the original game to actually patch it to English.
There are various places to buy the game Tsukihime, none of which I can think of right now because I shouldn't be on this forum atm. ;)

Code: Select all
[md@enigma:~]$ touch --help
Usage: touch [OPTION]... FILE...
Update the access and modification times of each FILE to the current time.

A FILE argument that does not exist is created empty.

A FILE argument string of - is handled specially and causes touch to
change the times of the file associated with standard output.

Mandatory arguments to long options are mandatory for short options too.
-a                     change only the access time
-c, --no-create        do not create any files
-d, --date=STRING      parse STRING and use it instead of current time
  -f                     (ignored)
-m                     change only the modification time
-r, --reference=FILE   use this file's times instead of current time
-t STAMP               use [[CC]YY]MMDDhhmm[.ss] instead of current time
  --time=WORD            change the specified time:
WORD is access, atime, or use: equivalent to -a
WORD is modify or mtime: equivalent to -m
--help     display this help and exit
--version  output version information and exit

Note that the -d and -t options accept different time-date formats.

You could 'touch' every file to create a ~0b arc.sar that would probably satisfy the game into letting you read the script.

I think even not having arc.sar file would work, but to be sure and to even have something to look up, you can draw it :P
