Tsukihime finished and extra files on plusdisc?

Unread postby Sesshiroth » April 10th, 2008, 11:31 pm

Hey, I feel like a fool for asking, but
a) Is the "eclipse" thing the last of Tsukihimes 'endings'?
and more importantly
b) When i inserted the plus disc cd and searched it through the explorer, there are a crap load of files other than just the installer. They are in a folder called plus-disc, so im not quite sure what exactly is going on. Is the installer named plus+disc.exe something else? Or are the files in the plus-disc folder all installed at once using the installer? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks much, and sorry for asking odd questions.

From what I've read, Eclipse seems to be Shiki Tohno's end. As for plus disc... I don't have it. I saw the whole Tsukihime set for sale, but I'm not loaded with money.

I know what you mean by that, but what i meant is if it was the end of the end. When I finished Kohaku's ending (which seems to be the last you can get), I got eclipse, so I was wondering if anything else unlocks afterwards.

1) Yes, Eclipse is the last story you unlock.
2) Plus+Disk comes with a bunch of extra stuff other than the main exe, like wallpapers and the first few chapters of Kara no Kyoukai (an earlier work of Nasu's).

and since those extra files are not the main executable, I assume that there is no translation for them? Just in case you DO know what im talking about, I took a screenshot of said files. Do they ring a bell?

Thanks again. Let me know if screenshots of whats IN the folders would help.

The first one says '99 Winter experimental version (or something)
second one says '99 summer somethingsomething version
no clue on the third
fourth one says wallpapers
fifth one says Kara no Kyoukai
Last one says Talk (I could be wrong on this, I've never seen the Jap title of Talk. That seems to be what it says though. "Talk(ing)/Chat(ting) Tsukihime".)

interesting, KnK is the other shiki's story, where its a girl that can see the lines, no? What are 99 winters and summers?
I'm an idiot, i should have guessed that the fourth one was wallpapers seeing as there are only IMAGES in it...duuuuh

99 winter / summer, as in

Winter of 1999, summer of 1999, etc.

Maybe they're prototypes of the game or something. It's undeniable the first one says something experimental version (Kinoko's Masterpiece Experimental Theatre? I don't know. That's probably not it).

And yes, KnK is the story about Ryougi Shiki.

And Talk is sort of afterstory of Tsukihime or prelude to Tsukihime 2, depending on how you want to see it as (Although I still can't confirm whether that last folder is Talk)
